Hell yeah! I drop off my luggage and then go outside for a nice smoke before going through passport control. And before I go through security I munch a spacecake or two.

The dog was definitely smelling for weed. I don't carry knives or guns and never have, so no residue there. I also don't take anything other than weed. So,no i didn't wipe my cocaine on my jeans. I said to them I just had a smoke. They still searched me for weed though, and they said it was illegal to transport it. So I think, they think you can't transport it out of Amsterdam. The train went through Rotterdam. What if I was going to eat it? before the boarder. Also would they have taken it off me, fine me or just tell me to get rid of it?

Sounds like they were fucking with you. Glad you made it though. If you believe the news media, all these stop and searches are for hard drugs and weapons.

It's more of a deterrent than to arrest people. Psychological warfare, if you will.
I remember going to T in the Park in Scotland and the sniffer dogs doing backflips as they went up the line of people. Asked if we had any drugs we simply replied "It's T in the park.. of course we do!" and were promptly let in.

I got done in Kilburn station 30 minutes after smoking a joint - i had nothing on me but the dog went mental
i might be doing that this time - dunno when ill be back to the dam its to pricey and im getting married - and ive never brought anything with me past central station so ive always been wondering.
Yeah, it isn't the international platform if your going to schipol airport, is it? So the sniffer dogs, won't be there? Cause I had planned on smoking and eating my brains out, just before leaving.

The first time I visited Amsterdam back in 2002, I smoked a big fatty INSIDE Schiphol. I was definitely naive back then but even more so rebellious and quite immature. I honestly thought it might have been acceptable to smoke in designated areas of the airport. But I definitely knew it wasn't acceptable to smoke at the edge of the food court. Amazingly, no one even seemed to notice me and I smoked at least half of a huge spliff before moving on to security to check in for a flight to Barcelona. It was exciting to do it but very, very stupid. Not to mention it was rude and disrespectful toward the Dutch people. Oh well, live and learn. You can be sure I don't do such childish things anymore.
