I was just wondering if it had to be passports in coffeeshops or if it as possible to use my British driving licence as ID instead. I am planning on renting a roor and dont have enough money for a cash deposit or a credit card to put down. I am happy to put my passport down but obviously not if i cant buy weed then

My wife used to get carded quite a bit and the driving license is fine.

Yeah as long as there's a pic of your face on your ID and if it seems legit you'll be good

Just forgot to say I use my french driving licence as an id in every cs and I never had a problem

Yes. I used my provisional driving license the last two times I went.

It an EU wide ID document so it will be accepted

or just go to popeyes coffeeshop!lol he lets anyone in there
not once have i seen him asking for id
there are a few places in the dam that never ask for id..try to guess which ones

I am only 21 and have been to the dam 3 times and id say i have been in almost every coffeeshop in the centrum the only places i have been asked for i.d was greenhouse centrum ,and prix d'ami and i don think i look old i get i.d regularly at home.

I have never been id once in Dam, in fact i think in my whole life ive only been asked twice or something

ive been id'd in pretty much every coffee shop ive been to, dont really mind as i do look young for 22.

I have never been ID'ed in any CS I have ever been in, i am 33 and look younger for my age, strange as I know people who look a lot older get carded.
