Going to Drum N Bass / Jungle night in the Winston on thursday, looks like a great night - really looking forward smoking a huge joint while listening to people MC over Drum N Bass

This is one of the strains which looked really good value from looking through the menus, heard a few reports that it can be a bit chemically, but will definitely be having a look / smell of the tub.

Grumblefoot wrote:The Dampkring shops used to have salad bowl both indica and sativa for around 5-6 euro per gram. I think this is just the shake left over from the bud jars.
Indeed, and they're no joke, the shake can be surprisingly strong.
Also, in June the price for their cheapest weed (at the time, Laughing Buddha) was a quite reasonable 7.5€/g, and the Buddha certainly didn't smoke like a budget strain! I was there again today but the counter was busy and the menu slightly uninteresting so I didn't buy anything. Something had replaced Laughing Buddha as the cheapest, may have been Sharksbreath, and weed now starts at 8€ per gram.
I still consider 8€ per gram for the kind of quality I got there in the summer an absolute bargain and a great price by Amsterdam standards.
Siberie may also have some rather cheap but decent stuff on their menu, and they also sold shake bags last time - of White Widow, 10e/2g, but it was stronger than a lot of pricier weed I've smoked. There was also a separate shake from all their Hazes, which was more expensive at 10e/1.5g so I didn't try that one. I'd recommend looking there for a good bang for your buck, though.

mikelondon wrote:Visited this place twice.
First time i was served by a Chinese guy. Purchased some bubble hash if memory serves me correct and the stronger variety of blueberry (Haze) that was on offer. Both were nice smokes and no complaints. I think this was in 2009.
Went back in February this year to buy the much talked about special and purchased from a young rasta guy. It was my intention to buy this when i went in, but he instantly recommended it anyway. To cut a long story short it was nothing short of 'complete' rubbish and i ended up throwing at least 3.5 gram in the rubbish bin. Smelled fine in the bag, yet the smoke had zero effect, tasted of chemicals and left you feeling sick.
I spent my last day in Amsterdam convinced that the owner of the shop should 'make sure' his staff are not ripping off potential tourists with their own crap stash and then keeping the good for themselves. I know that might sound like the ravings of a paranoid lunatic, but i've been smoking for 25 years and would like to think i know a thing or two when it comes to judging quality.
I sincerely hope the owner reads all these comments.
Thats from the review thread.
Better luck to others.

Popeye have a shake mix at 5g for 20 Euros.
That's good value, although I didn't look at it.
Green Place have a few at 5g for 35 Euros - like Northern Lights, White Widow etc.
Those represented the best value whilst I was there - and we had a couple of guys looking at the budget end of the spectrum.
