We arrive around 3pm on Sunday and I've just read about this public transport strike, will it affect the tram between Schiphol and Amsterdam, or is it just limited to the city of Amsterdam?

Trains not trams run between Schiphol and Amsterdam Centraal, so nothing to worry about.
