How long do different edibles remain fresh?

Post by Musa »

Hello friends!
I would like to buy some edibles, maybe muffins or cookies, but I'm going to keep it for several days. How long will they remain fresh? Is it still pleasant to have some cake or cookie after a week of keeping or so?
Maybe you give me some recommendations which edibles are good for long-term preservation.
Thanks!

Cake is cake. The fact that there is weed or cannabutter/oil in the edible doesnt make a difference.

Unless you have a fridge to hand, week old cake is gonna be stale. same with muffins and all baked goods. Surely thats obvious?!

If your worried about the weed deteriorating (spelling?) over the week, dont. The cake will have gone hard and then mouldy way before the thc breaks down.

If your asking this question because you wont have access to more edibles for a few days, how about this. Buy a lump of nice hash (no chance of that going off) to carry around (easier to hide than a bunch of cakes too), and simply buy a pot of yoghurt or even full fat milk shake each time you want to 'consume'. Add the finely ground hash to the yoghurt/shake and stir in. No need to heat. The fat from the dairy will seperate the thc, which is what you want.

Thank you.
Of course I am asking about the cake itself, not about its filling :) Yes, I'm going to visit Amsterdam and then have a dozen of days travelling in other parts of Holland, and want to do everything coffeeshop-related in Amsterdam.

And what's about cookies? As far as I understand the word "cookie" it means something line this:

Or am I mistaken, and "space cookies" look a different way? This seems to be more suitable for long-time keeping?

OK pals, would you please tell me which CSs in Amsterdam sell space cookies? Not cakes, not muffins, but hard (I mean hard by touch) cookies. I couldn't find the answer anywhere... neither here nor on "CS Menus". Thanks.

How does it go with taking space cakes through the airport? Do the sniffer dogs still do their stuff? and could you quickly feed the dog the evidence
But seriously would it not be quite easy to bring space cakes back on the plane with little chance of getting into bother....(change the packaging?)
