Cannasir gets connoisseur'd: the Spoonalogue

Now then, my descriptive abilities need to be put through their paces....cos I have tried Spoon... Oh yes! 
I was thinking of ending the post there for dramatic effect - you know, less is more and all that, but I wont make you wait til someone asks me to expand...
The scene:
[for reasons of national security I must conceal certain details regarding my presence in town recently so anything i obviously leave out was left out deliberately!

So, I'd had no sleep under my belt for the preceding 36hrs (not caused by drugs) and had been expending some strenuous effort that morning. I arrived in Voyager's Coffeeshop expecting to buy-and-fly, having spent the previous 4hrs sampling Old Skool Haze from Amnesia, Neville's Haze and Parvati from 420, king hassan from Stones corner and ??? from (coffeeshop that wont be named pending a post about the sneaky asswipe budtender who tried an old note-shuffling trick on me to try to rip me off 20e - he didnt succeed.)
My stone-level was pretty good by the time I reached de kuil and then their Neville's got me reeally high and euphoric as well as giving me the sweaty hands and tremors associated with class a's!
I still had the sweats and trembles (nice!) from the 'star destroyer' (warez'd that name from ya m8.. ) I'd rolled of Neville's and finished about 15 mins earlier when I walked into Voyagers. I may have been reacting to the weed like this partly due to the lack of sleep, i realise that, as i was pretty tired but weed-awake by the time i got to Voyagers.
Anyway, who should I see there? Gapie and...I immediately recognised despite having never seen or met...the very lovely and still-as-yet-to-me-almost-enigmatic luvbong...
Along with the extremely chilled and cool HPDriftr from the forum and another cool english guy. [I had seen that USBL and Luvtick had set a TnT at Spirit for noon but as i couldnt make that I assumed I had missed them but I guess Amsterdam is a relatively small world for those that know and love the best weed - Voyager's being a great place for it! ]
I made my purchases of 2.5g each of Kaligria and Pioneer Haze and after introductions:
"Hi, Im the guy who posted that bigoted stuff about americans on the forum!"
sat down to join the table.
Upon hearing my real name, USBL checked with his Lady and then reassured me that I wasnt the (same name) person who was at risk of taking an involuntary bong-assisted winter canal-dive!! This was, of course, good to know!
USBL quickly declared his intention of smearing spoon on the next spliff I rolled!
I thought, oh shit, this is gonna destroy me!
I usually roll with a bit of tobacco but chose to leave that out for the benefit of majority of non-tobacco smokers and cooked up a mediocre-standard (rolling without tobacco is something i rarely do hence the non-perfect shape) but sufficient spliff onto which USBL smeared....that stuff!!!....on the cm or so nearest the tip!
I did my best to apply fire as gently as possible and kinda 'dabbed' the end of the joint with the flame, inhaling deeply. I took about 4 good tokes before passing it on and then.... Hang on, I thought! What's going on here? I'm...i'm...,what exactly IS this doing to me...GOD! "It's so clear" ! The joint came round again - 2 more tokes - and it was STILL dripping with Spoon! Far from 'destroying' me, those 6 tokes cut through all my existing stone and high and left me...well...completely clear and somewhat euphoric (and wide awake!!!) is about the best way to describe my state then and for the next several hours - reducing with time of course but still there! - even though i continued toking top buds and hash for the rest of my day... The awakeness was very handy for me later in the day too!
Thing is, 'clear' is something you have to feel - i'm not sure how well it comes across in this description? If you've ever tried certain things that this forum is not for then you may have experienced a very similar 'clarity', albeit a bit more rushy, with a small helping of the very finest cadburys....
Taste-wise, my palate told me it was delicately floral and slightly sweet - a delight in fact!
Spoon scored FLIPPIN 99.3% on the HTCC special gizmo purity-tester!!! The closest rival was 97%!! Extraordinary! My guess: only reason HTCC wouldnt give an honorary prize to USBL for Spoon is that he's 'not a coffeeshop' or doesnt advertise with them or some such utter toss! Spoon is to cannabis as Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1986 is to wine or Westvleteren 12 is to beer - and some people will say that the Rothschild is not worth the £700+ per bottle even after tasting it because they are not fortunate enough to be able to sense all that wine's subtleties and smoothness and all they're really interested in is getting inebriated anyway, or the admittedly severe price tag makes them hate it for that reason alone.
USBL gave me an idea of how much it costs to produce spoon.... - and, folks, this dude is justifiably proud of his creation and loves letting people try it!!!
I would say that Spoon (i think it should be capitalised lol - no, I mean it! lol) is without doubt a labour-of-love produced with great experience and the very finest buds. It's kinda like the best oil you ever tried or the best isolator but with ZERO nasty pressure on the inside of the temples, a nice and very subtle taste and a euphoric clarity (keeps coming back to that for me).
Major thanks to you, USBL, for your generosity in sharing this precious and unique thing. DAMN i wanna make that myself one day! I'm sure the luvbong will thoroughly enjoy the rest of what is, to me, an 'impossibly' romantic two weeks! Romancing the Stoner is a great trip-title!
I'm adding Spoon to my list of All-time top smoking experiences (if you hadnt guessed) - a unique connoisseur treat!
