Yeah i cant wait. Will be my 4th visit although never been for new year but speaking to Marco, Gapie and a few others it sounds as if it will be a great time to go. Going over on the 30th alone and my girlfriend joins me the next day and we are staying until the 2nd of January. I mite attempt a trip report of my own, don't no if it will be on par with the likes of u, Luvtik and the others but its all about sharing here.

well i can tell u 1st hand from my experience make sure u wrap up in march. Its mighty cold especially if the winds whipping off the canals. I was in Amsterdam the 1st week in march this year for my birthday also and yes crowds are more or less non existent that time of year. Makes it easier to get to desired destinations and easier to get a seat in the coffeeshops

Well i think i will b taking a leaf from your book and writing down things as i go n not wait till the end of the day or whatever but best laid plans of stoners tend to get fucked up.

i have yet to go to Basjoe but its firmly cemented in my up coming trip as a must visit as often as i can when i'm there. I'm really looking forward to it and James seems like a cool guy.

i hope u find a place to stay that you're happy with and once you have it booked n out the way that leaves more time to spend planning and daydreaming about your next adventure to Amsterdam.

The challenge for me is finding us a place that is clean, decent hopefully smoker friendly without a bunch of steps.

You want this place. Ground floor, studio apartment, right off Rembrant Square and 2 min walk to Basjoe or the south Barney's.

the landlord is a wonderful woman, my wife and I rented another apartment off her on our last trip.

awww...I would love to hang out with you too (and Hestia, and IG, and the whole 420 gang) unfortunately my folks are coming over that week, don't feel too bad for me, I'll be chilling at an alpine lake cabin. I'm moving to cali this summer, so maybe you can make me a stop on your next humbolt adventure.
