New to the forum so thought I'd introduce myself, visited Amsterdam for my first time around 2 weeks ago, found this site really helpful for getting around and finding coffee shops, and peoples reviews gave me a better idea of where to go and where not to go, had the best week, so I owe this site a thanks

Welcome neighbor. Yes, this is a great site for getting and giving, and helped make my Nov. 19 - 28 visit more informed. I'll be going back in May for a "more complete" three-week visit, maybe staying in a different part of the city for a week at a time.

Funnily enough I was out there for a week starting the 6th of November, I would love to go out again but I haven't got the full picture about this ban on tourists going in coffeeshops, and doubt i'll be able to afford it before January 1st
