Been lurking for a while, and finally signed up earlier in the week. Used to be on channels and I recognise a load of usernames on here from there.

Off to the 'Dam tomorrow morning, back Sunday evening. Been three years, so to say I can't wait is possibly the biggest understatement the world's ever seen

It's fair to say that this is my fifth trip, and I've not even been to Anne Frank's house. Or anything that's anything other than a coffeeshop. This trip will be no different

Welcome to the forum.

We usually find a coffeeshop or two near our art/culture/tech/outdoor destination and and hit it before going in, e.g., The Noon by the Rijksmuseum. When the modern art museum was open that was the place to go after a coffeeshop visit. To bore a bit more, I'm a fan of Amsterdam School architecture- an early 1900s modernism found throughout the city- and I've stumbled on interesting little coffeeshops in my search for these buildings.
