I just got word that I might be coming back to Holland in May, just in time for Liberation day. This would be my 9th trip to Holland/Amsterdam, but the first for this holiday. What should I expect? Anything special going on with the cannabis scene this time of year?

I was in the Dam last year on this date. There was a definitive festive mood around the city. I remember a great deal more boats flying Dutch colors on the canals, several with live bands playing as they said up and down the canals.
