I jumped in here at the end of March 2009, on a Saturday afternoon when the city was packed with Scots for the football match.

I liked the vibe. It's dark and large-ish. The menu had loads of choice.

There was an attractive lady in her late 30s (I guess) with dark hair at the budcounter. She kind of made me wait a bit before serving me, which made me feel uncomfortable. She was not busy doing anything, and she looked at me and could see that I was waiting to do business, but she looked away again and kept me standing there for at least a minute or two before she engaged with me.

I'm not sure what this was all about.

I ordered a €7 SSH pre-roll, which left me totally blitzed. It was super strong imo, although it was my first of the trip, so my tolerance was low.

I also got a gram of LA Con. @ €14. This looked really nice but the effect in my opinion was nothing spectacular. Fairly average I would say.

I wonder, though, if the LAC just didn't do it for me in general, because the budman in Dampkring also picked that strain for me as his best indica in the shop, and that didn't really excite me very much either, so perhaps me and this strain are just not so well suited.

Stopped here last Friday. The staff was very friendly. The budtender, a guy with dreads, was great. He showed be a few sativas that were not on the menu from which I picked one. Wish I could remember the name of the stuff. It was 12E/g and it was good!!!

I wasn't too thrilled with the music, but the shop was not bad at all. Worth a visit. Thanks for the tip Cattails.

Walked in the music was way too loud still and the group of lads hanging about didn't look very welcoming so I turned around and walked straight back out again.

The chocolupe was good. The cheese and the NY Deisel was awesome. The isolator hash was spectacular. The nepal hash just arrived so I will let you know when I try it

Munch Bunch summary

With the very large signs outside advertising the 15 pool tables inside the shop who could resist. We walked in expecting that a potential top score was in reach as soon as we entered the venue our happy clouded bubble was burst, greeted by a drab brown atmosphere we continued to the bar. The lady informed us that we were to purchase our drinks here and our drugs in the back room. The drinks were pretty standard both with an average selection the cost was reasonable. The back room was also very dark with a few diner style tables occupied by people. Pack man and the fridge spoke to the sales assistant who went on and explained what a few of the different types of drugs were that he had. Hence why this was the only actual score to receive a 7 or above. Once we had out treats from the teats we walked up to the second floor, the first thing that came to mind walking up these stairs was the old ‘Tricorn’ that once grazed angry Portsmouth folk. It had a non cared for look as if they had just moved in and not bothered painting or even sweeping. As we walked further up the stair we ca,me across what looked to be the only toilet which the fridge went to familarise himself with. When he returned he described the location as one you would piss against but not go in. *he stated it was so filthy he contemplated pissing outside somewhere. Pacman and I went to sit down in the massive hall with, as stated, a lot of pool tables, what the sign didn’t say was the fact that on the second and third floors it was absolutely desolate, the pool tables were of very poor condition and there was no music on either floor there was no character to these floors and even less comfortable seating. This section only scored high thanks to the volume of seats and variety it seemed like that the majority of life was being had on the ground floor and that the friendliness of the staff was the only rewarding feature this Coffeeshop could have a lot of potential with the vast size and options that could be done on each floor, but but don’t hold your breath at the moment. Suffice to say we left quite quickly and probably would not return.

never had their LA Con but I really liked the cheese and the isolator hash. I would imagine that some of the smoke from there is the same as the mellow yellows because they are co owned now
