Re: Differences
The main difference between those two is that sativas effects the brain and mind as the kushes are more like body-stone (similar to the indicas).
Another thing is that kush-weed does taste better most of the time. Like kandy kush - like a candy in your mouth if you smoke it. In contrast to something like nevilles haze, that tastes like hay sometimes...

Re: Differences
It will be Hazes for me then.
Re: Differences
Kush are mostly indicas but I find them to have the good amount of sativa effects for keeping you up instead of couchlocking you
Re: Differences
Right, because there's Kush and then there's Kush. The problem is that it isn't usually indicated which one it is. One group of "Kush" strains comes from the landrace strains of the Hindu Kush mountain range (hence the name). They are going to be either 100% indica or very heavily indica-dominant, couchlocking nighttime weed. Vanilla Kush from Barney's is an example of such a Kush.Panog wrote:Kush are mostly indicas but I find them to have the good amount of sativa effects for keeping you up instead of couchlocking you
Then you've got the massively-hyped (but nonetheless fucking potent) OG Kush and its countless variations and hybrids, originating from the West Coast of the States. I'm not sure about the exact genetics, and I'm not sure how sure you can be today anyway, but as far as I know the OG Kush carries quite a lot of sativa genetics in it - if I had to guess I'd say roughly half and half, actually. The OG Kushes (and hybrids of which it is a parent) that I've smoked have all been exceptionally strong, and it's taken me a while to notice the sativa effects, because the stone is so strong that I was overwhelmed. But on top of the physical body buzz (more like body SLAM) there's a humming kind of pressure-around-the-eyelids kind of head high which is no slouch either.
Nowhere near the Hazes in terms of effects up in the head, though, to return to the OPs question. Cheeses, to generalize and put it simply, will walk the middle path between the two. I have found them to be like the OG Kushes in that though they have clearly hybrid effects, the indica effects dominate, though not so much with Cheese as OG Kush (but that's just plain Cheese - Blue Cheese is another story, that's a lot stonier).
Re: Differences
Yeah I was obviously talking about the "OG" ones
