Return of Mondragon III- This Time It's Ludicrous

So my springtime trip is shaping up nicely, but when do you think would be the stupidest time to arrive in the Dam, 10pm on Queen's Day? Why, of course, done. Thankfully KLM seem to have cancelled the last flight from Glaswegia, so it's a 5pm-ish flight instead. Result, bring the carnage/idiocy. So it is 30th Apr-7th May, as Ace Frehley would say...Rip It Up.

This year I will mainly be staying on the Plantagebuurt, so would love to hear recomendations for all things eastwardly-ish, Het Ballonetje looks like the best repped c/s in the vicinity, whaddabout the rest? Apt looks nice, canna wait.

You have been posted on the April and May Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay and any Toke & Talks that are planned..

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=56925

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

Bill Haley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis and even the Beatles got there before Ace, but Rip It Up sounds like a good idea to me!! Go for it!

Ace was/sounds really ripped when he slurs it. There might have been medieval ballads called Rype it Uppe, probably, loads of those old school RnR guys were ripped surely...
I'll be well ripped for certain, cheers. Canna(bis) wait.

Does anyone one know what shape the Rijksmuseum is right now, as it was bollocks as of Jan 2011, only about a quarter of it open. I'm resigned to the Stedelijk being shut, maybe with the weitpas crap I'll never see it, but I was hoping the big one might be a bit more sorted.

Cool, you won't be able to miss me, I'll be the stoned dude...

That's a Saturday night, if there isn't one already, y'could post a TnT, all good, there is time to spare, I like to see what unfolds, although I could hypothetically venture, say 7pm at Voyagers if nothing else crops up.

I'll be well 'researched' by then, not at the same level as the locals mind. Catch ye...

Cool, thanks yeah, I'll have a proper camera this time, and possibly PC access for a live report, however I don't want to waste too much Dam time, writing about my Dam time, too meta by far. I want to go on the FFF, and go to Haarlem, and get high there too, and get at least one Gallery in, haven't done enough of that in the years since I left uni.

21 days now...

Hoho, it's very soon time now, just getting into practice now, got the address, roll on (up) Monday. Any ideas if it'll be easy to see the City game anywhere, given the date, If the apartment has BBC might leave it til MOTD.
