CS with best view in Red Light District?

Post by TwoCanucks »

ok... I said it. My broski and I will be staying in the RLD, got an apartment not far from Stones Cafe. My buddy wants to sit and smoke and watch the girls in the windows from a cs. I think that's hilarious.

What's the best option(s) for this? of course, the quality of herb is just as important as the view ;) ;) ;) ;)

i tried using the search option but it was of little use.

cheers

the best windows are down alleys, off the top of my head i cant really think of anywhere thats got a decent view.

you wont have a problem smoking one while your walking through these alleys tho...

had a great afternoon about 14 years ago sat upstairs at the old church watching the coming (ahem) and goings of that area of the RLD. However as has been mentioned the place has gone down hill somewhat, found it unpleasant on a later trip about 7 years ago. Don't know about now but cs reviews I've read seem negative. Doesn't Anydays coffeeshop have a similar view from upstairs, I seem to remember that being mentioned.

The back of Stones cafe is great to see the more 'unusual' women that frequent the RLD ply their trade plus you can have a beer and smoke your own their, but its only a good idea if the weathers nice.

As a previous poster said, I really like the Anyday coffeeshop. Good prices and gear, and the views the the small RLD around it are good.

There are a few smoke-friendly bars in the RLD with window views:

Excalibur if you like you're beer and rock music, from upstairs or downstairs you can see the comings and goings from a couple of windows and the same owners' Banana Bar across the canal-MOST entertaining!

Cafe Remember- a few window views.

Cafe Old Wembley on Monnikenstraat, a narrow window alley, not sure if you can actually see windows from inside though.

The Sofa's at the back of Coffeeshop 36 are usually empty and have a nice view out some (usually open) bay windows overlooking the canal. Nice watching the boats, and tourists go by, usually taking pictures of us hitting HUGE bongs!

I second the votes for the upstairs at Anyday, but I don't think you can actually see any RLD windows from there. But they are only a few steps away once you exit Anyday....

There is a reasonable view of a few windows from the top floor of the Red Light Bar...smoker friendly too :)

There's not that many coffee shops with Red Light views. Anyday is most probably best for a view of the Singel area RLD.

However, there's plenty of pubs on the main 'sex' canal that are smoke friendly that have excellent views of very busy windows.
