Last year we just did one winner Basjos, But the year before that( Volcano year) We did 3 . 1st, 2nt & 3rd place.I really liked that better than just the one.....Besides think of the extra party value of three virses one..

I would suggest that since the number of shops involved is relatively small, recognize each one maybe? (the socialist in me) Hmm, could be something there... Give each shop that's been selected by the masses a token of our "collective" appreciation, with the winner receiving the coveted Hestia 4/20 Cup, Chalice, or whatever shiny sparkly object the Queen doth award the winner.
All in all, I'm a pacifist by heart, so I'll go with the flow...

I'm thinking of a Beatles tune, something about 1, 2, 3, 4, ......

Actually I hadn't thought of 2 cups, gold and silver or something like that . would the silver be smaller than the gold also?
We need to ask Trad what he thinks....as the actual cup was his idea to start with, and an excellent one too. So Mr. Trad.....What do you think? 1,2 or 3 ?

As it stands at this moment, I have placed an order for 4 cups…delivery is not until late March so the order can still be changed (I left it that way while the inscription debate was on in case I had to change it)…these cups are exactly the same as the one on display in Basjoe’s, with the year of presentation added to the inscription.
The cups come in a couple of other sizes and are also available in ‘silver’. I suggest that I drop 2 of the winner’s cups from the order and add 2 second place slightly smaller ‘silver’ cups with appropriate inscriptions. With all this talk of tourist bans 4 years worth of cups might be a little ambitious….
This is, of course, all subject to my Queens approval…..

Let's save one of those nice cups from Trad and presented it to Dave at t'Nes....for anything. You guys can come up with of a title, but Dave and t'Nes has been the place to hang from the very first 4-20....and if anyone deserves a trophy, it's Dave. Best host ever....between space cakes, huge volcanos bags, bong rips, good beers, you name it, Dave's supplies it. What do you guys think??? He gets my vote.

Any cups made of cadburys chocolate will be gladly accepted, otherwise I got a a certifimicate thingy the other year already!.

As fer 1 or 3....1, it's first and then all the rest.

Though while we're on the subject, I suggest this year it's a free vote. Just fill in the coffeeshops ya visit and the 1 with the most points wins. Even with the top 10 shops being voted for here, the final count always ends up with around 30 shops on it anyway....which kinda makes the top 10 vote a waste of time. Albert Cyup, Jordaan, RLD and Rembrandt/leidseplein crawls would cover most of the best. Plus, with lots of people only getting in 1 or 2 days before the results are needed, 10 shops can be a stretch...on what is afterall a "Holiday"
