Thank you, don't mind if I do.
As for being geeky, you are the geekymonkey are you not?
geekymonkey wrote:Admittedly, I'm a pot ho, and it's only this last September that I started smoking more hash when in Amsterdam. (I'm an unprocessed sort of geek all around, and so I've just naturally preferred the less-processed nature of pure bud.)
She said "pot ho".
I suppose that makes you a stoner chick as well?

Now you know...
geekymonkey wrote:I don't think I'm a target of opportunity at this point, as I do know something about hash mostly thanks to the excellent people here, frequent quality shops and am pleasant with the dealers many of whom I have an ongoing relationship with.
My thoughts exactly, thank you.
I also think attitude plays a major part as well.
geekymonkey wrote:I smoked 6-8 hashes the first weekend in September, and around 20 the last week. Stayed in the nl working the second week in october, so I probably smoked an ounce of hash that month. I hacked up black blobs from my lungs for the next 6 weeks. I've never had that happen from smoking the equivalent amount of weed, or even dramatically larger amounts of weed.
You smoked approximately an ounce of hash, that's why you coughed up chunks of tar.
Take a needle and stick it through a small piece of paper; take a small piece of hash and stick it on the tip of the needle; light the hash and allow it to burn for approximately 10 seconds, blow out; place a clear glass container over the set up and observe. Of course I'm describing hash under glass, an old school method of smoking hash. What I want you to focus on is the density of the smoke, and after the smoke has been removed, the residue that remains. What you see in the container is at a minimum of what remains in your lungs.
Now if you were to vaporize, no more chunks perhaps... I dunno, but it does work for weed. Something to toke about...
geekymonkey wrote:There were only a few hashes that left a residue in my mouth that made me suspect they had been cut with something- the Trans-Himalayan from Kandinsky and the Pollen Nepal from Katsu (which was really cheap and I should never have bought but I was high high when I made that call.)
Thanks for naming names, and at the same time conveying doubt and not absolute.
geekymonkey wrote:There were a few hashes that I definitely think were clean clean, and I will probably smoke some hash next time I'm in Amsterdam, but this pot ho shall remain so for now.
edited to correct the spelling of Himalayan, which I butchered horribly the first time.
I'm gradually moving away from bud and more towards hash, mainly because bud prices have become ridiculously high (no pun intended).
Also with hash, I'm less likely to get ripped-off due to under-flush/under-cure/excessive water weight/ and the list goes on....
Damn, now where did I put my hash pipe?
Happy trails...
