I suppose I could go on, but why bother...

Although I don't condone what has happened, if he aligned himself with a criminal organization, it's his own fault.
The owner has been shot before, also kidnapped but escaped. Sounds to me like he has been pushing his luck.
Maybe he made a deal with gang bangers and this is why it's been so sloppy.
Pros would have ghosted him already, just saying.

Why does the establishment still think their policies are effective?
Given the current state of cannabis affairs in The Netherlands, this may be a sign of what's to come.
A possible solution - contract individual or co-op farmers.

Send lawyers, guns, and money... this ain't over yet!

All of you... thank you for sharing. I'm confused (which is not unusual btw).
Did this happen two years ago AND AGAIN recently?
Or is it a repost of the same news item from two years ago?
Seems underreported if it happened recently, specially in this forum.
Some say I barely understand English much less the written Dutch language.
What are the implications if it happened two years ago but not recently?
Is my paranoia justified?

So yes there was a drive by shooting at 02:00 a few days ago. No one was injured and the shop was closed at the time. Reading the article below from AT5, it looks like the shop name has changed as well. Like I said the article that is posted above is regarding the previous owners kidnapping, which you can find video for on youtube.

He may well have bitten off more than he could chew or it could be a case of good old fashioned extortion. Either way - or possibly a third way - I doubt the full truth will ever come out. Scary stuff!
