Well, it is now official... I will be in Europe from May 8 until July 2, and I will be in Amsterdam from May 29-June 28!! Flight to Europe and 'dam apartment are booked!

I arrive in London early am May 8. I will be trying to make it to Stonehenge and Liverpool that day, then head to Dublin early May 9. I will spend 5-6 days in Ireland, then fly to Rome. I will spend about a week in Italy, and fly from Venice to Barcelona. Probably 2 days each in Barcelona and Madrid, then head to Paris for a couple of days... After 3 weeks of hardcore sightseeing, I will take an early morning train from Paris to Amsterdam on May 29th for a month of hardcore relaxation! Finally, I think I will take the ferry to Newcastle, go to Scotland for 2 days and return to London for the final 2 days of my trip!

I hope I get to meet more of you, and see those of you I have met again!!

FE- nice excursion you've got planned. Barcelona's one of my fav cities. Awesome Gaudi and Calatrava architecture. The mopeds there provide the same kind of pedestrian "danger" that the bikes in AMS do... let op! Best of luck with the rest of your semester.

Arrive London Gatwick 8am Tue 5/8
Depart London Heathrow 745pm for Dublin, 5 days in Ireland. Probably 5/9-11 in Galway, 5/12-13 in Dublin

Depart Dublin 7:10am Mon 5/14 for Milan, Italy
Probably Milan 5/14-15, Venice 5/16-17, Florence 5/18-19, Rome 20-24
Depart Rome Th 5/24 4:20pm for Paris, 4 days

Tue 5/29, morning, Train from Paris to Amsterdam.

Depart Amsterdam Th 6/28 9:40pm for London, 3 days

Depart London Mon 7/2 12:20pm for Tampa.

On the one hand, I'm bummed about missing Barcelona and not going to Spain at all... on the other, well, adding two days in Milan and an extra day in Rome ain't a bad thing!

Sounds like an epic trip! Have fun

What a blow, hope you get something worked out.

Yeah, I got it figured out... no Spain, extra Italy, it's all good! So far it has cost me an extra $96, but hopefully before long mastercard will get me $62 back from Spanair.

Hi,I notice you were going to try to visit Stonehenge in your earlier plans, but whist in Ireland,you could check out Newgrange [older than stonehenge] and if you are heading to Galway from Dublin you will pass the Hill of Tara ,both are pretty interesting,enjoy your trip.

In ybor? If that's the one, I've been there but not regularly. I don't drink much... looks like we have a few days of overlap though, I get there May 29, probably in the morning, 1pm at the latest.
