I was in Escape last Saturday night, was first time clubbing in dam as normally I just go to smoke but it was a friends birthday and he wanted to go clubbing.

We really liked it - they played technoish music in the ground floor, and on top floor was more current/classic hits (hip hop etc) so was a perfect mix really. Also there is an in-door glass smoking area where we were smoking joints...what more can you ask for . Oh and also there was a hot dancer dancing on roller skates... all in all was a good night and I would recommend it. Check out their website though to see whats on when you go.

It was pretty expensive though, €16 for entry, and then €1.50 for each item of clothing in cloak room. To be honest we only went there because it was recommended by the bud tender at Basjoe's, and when we got the square it was the only place that didnt have a very long queue. Was worth it though.

It all depends on when you are here. Scene changes quickly.

Anyone know of any Gabba night clubs? In a DJ/Producer as a living and I've always heard great things about Dutch music culture. Apparently Gabba is huge over there and it's a fave of mine so I wanna get messy and rave my face off.

Any help appreciated!

Trouw is always good. Music varies but some nights (like tonight) is really good house in the basement. San Soda is an ace producer and dj from belgium.

Just wondering what there door policy is like, planning on catching John Digweed here on 13/4/12.

or if anyone has any info on stag friendly nightclubs would be much appreciated

I saw Diggers at Melkweg In March 11. Was an epic. We met these two innocent looking American girls with real thick southern accents at Bulldog on Leidesplein. And they decided to tag along, depite claiming to hate all forms of electronic music. Anyway, one of them disappeared for a while, and just as we were starting to worry she reappeared. It was quite evident to all that she had at some point consumed some obviously quite strong mdma. And it was also quite clear that she no longer hated electronic music

You won't have a problem getting in Escape unless they are having a party. Wearing trainers is the quickest way to get turned away from the door. And a shirt with a collar helps.

There are really not any stag friendly nightclubs. Your best bet is to break up into groups of 3 or 4 and arrive separately. You might be able to find an event at Bitterzoet, Paradiso or the Melkweg and purchase tickets. In that case you'll have no problems gaining entry.

Was thinking the same lad, breaking into groups would prob be the best option

Although to be honest this is all wishful thinking, i don't really think im gonna have any input on the weekend whatsoever
