QD can be great if you plan... dancing in the streets the night before, early morning shopping for great bargains in the south, go home via Vondelpark and see the kids do their thing, get your smokables and head to a good spot (hopefully on someones roof :wink: ) to see the parade with a smoke and a glass of vino and finish off the day with a houseparty...WOOT

There is a chance this year's QD will be cancelled or may be low-key due to the accident of the Prince.

You know marco i was thinking that! if it is scrubbed i will still go anyways,Europe is great in the nice weather! KD.

I roll into town about 6pm, will the madness have dissipated? As long as my flight goes smoothly then I should be up for something.

hi

i just spoke to a dutch friend of mine who said that QD would not be celebrated in the usual manner this year, because the dutch prince Johan Friso is still in a coma after beeing buried in an avalanche.

any a´damers got updated info?

i think we will see more orange then other years..
lets hope the Orange Prince of Nassau gets better and doesnt get much brain damage and will be next year!! Queen may cancel what ever was planned for the famely and her :cry:
but the party still going on and im sure he would want everyone to party in hes name!!
so PARTY HARD ORANGE PPL!! :mrgreen:
