The next big thing?

Post by The_Kushler »

Angelica archangelica - can grow in your garden. Been talking to a herbalist about this. Similar buzz to cannabis. Anyone tried it? You can't just smoke it!

A knowledge of Alchemy is needed to get the herb into a form that will have the desired effect.

next big thing? I think you will find that all the "new" drugs that have came out over the last few years are in the most parts chemical analogues of existing established recreational drugs. Most of them are not that new either and the majority are in PIHKAL and TIHKAL manuals by legendary Alexander "Sasha" Theodore Shulgin. Forget timothy learly (well intentioned fruit loop), Shulgin is the godfather of recreational drugs.

As a fellow scientist i am firmly of the opinion that you should stick to the established "real" drugs. The others in the main were discoverd years ago but were put aside as they carried extra risks/side effects or lacked efficacy of the "real" drugs. For example MDMA- in its pure form and with sensible use is a relatively safe substance with relatively few adverse effects - or as shulgin put it "his low calorie martini". On the other hand substitue substances such as DOM, Methylone, Mephadrone ect while structually similar to MDMA dont have the same "magic" as MDMA and have a much higher rate of adverse reactions. Personally i think unless you know for a fact that your e is MDMA then i would stay well clear, some of the substances sold as E these days are very dangerous. Ayone who uses GBL/GBH is a complete fool. Fact.

Or on other hand LSA (from woodrose seeds, morning glory) is structually similar to LSD but anyone who has taken it will tell you it is like comparing a beer to shandy. Its the same with weed, why smoke a substitute like the one you mention or a synthetic THC (JBW or JBH compounds are carcinogenic to a much higher degree than THC compounds, case widthdrawl effects, and cause a higher rate of phsycotic episodes). Why have something like cannabis when you can have cannabis.

I even know some people who are convinced the flooding of the drugs market with these "new" inferior substitue drugs is a massive conspiracy to reduce drug use. Personally i doubt it but its an interesting theory.
We cant stop here this is bat country
