As a second generation dugout user I think this is a very original idea for quick easy concealment, but wouldn't be sold on it for regular use. That is to say I wouldn't replace mine for one with small grinding teeth. I don't want it packed tight with ground gear. Collecting all the dust as I break off tiny nugs to burn conserves better than a grinder in my mind. The end of a one hitters bag is always some of the nicest kief you'll see.

I just looked at one of the bats at a local shop. First, it's made out of aluminum, to which I don't care to apply heat for smoking (I have done enough 'can-piping' in the past, thank you.) Second, the teeth seem pretty flimsy and look like they will bend fairly easily. There is also the matter of (potentially) digging into and through the dugout. I believe I will wait until they come up with a ceramic alternative. Very nice idea, though.

Pros:
Ceramic bat. Brushed stainless steelt housing. Air tight stash chamber.

Cons:
Grinder tops are to small to use IMO.
Shells sink. Dreams float.
