Thanks Dan, very useful reviews.

Today is Coffeeshop Hugo, specials day so you might want to try something there if you're going west!

Yup Haarlem was good. Like a mini amsterdam. Great place to get away from the centre. Good and cheap herbs. Nice people. Defo worth a trip. Takes like 20 minutes by train, return was like 8 euros.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Thanks for another bunch of great reporting. I've really enjoyed this, and it's packed with great information.

That King Kong from Anyday doesn't look or sound anything like the King Kong I've been getting at Voyagers, which I find really interesting. (It looks good though, I love kushes.)
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

Thanks geeky love your travel logs.
Yeah Im a huge fan of Kushes also as I find them stronger than Hazes, probably due to smoking mainly Indicas for the last 20+ years.

Monday February 20, 2012

Today is my last full day in Amsterdam. I am sad to go but am happy to be going home. I really enjoyed this trip and found some good herbs this trip.
So, I went to Albert Cuyp market for gift shopping. Then I went to the center and spent the rest of the day sight seeing and smoking.

Katsu
I stopped at Katsu and it was better this time as the budtender was a younger more friendly lady this time. I still only did a buy-n-fly as I much prefer Media to toke in.

Lavender/LA Woman 10e 1g
Second buy of this trip and decided to try it again when I wasn't annoyed with the tender/atmosphere. Glad I did, it is good herb. Very fragrant and tasty, strong buzz. 8/10

Club Media
One of my very favorites love the chill atmosphere, Super friendly budtenders every visit. Great Bud Great Prices. Only thing there missing is a top shelf Indica like one of the heavy Kushes I love so much.

Cannalope Haze 10e g
I decided to try this one as I never saw it on any other menus. It has a nice look to it, crystals and cure looks right on. It has a nice soft hazey smell when you squeeze the buds. It tastes and smokes very softly with a lesser strength buzz but better taste than the Silver Bubble. 8/10

Pot of Gold
One of the best under 10e you will find in the dam. 8/10

Barney's Coffeshop
Very nice interior good place to chill especially if you were younger, touristy shop though. Been going here at least once every trip.

Tangerine Dream 15e g
This is nice looking bud. Looks like its had an especially nice long cure, Beautiful. Smells nice and hazey with hints of pine and lemon. Taste nice with hints of lemon/lime. Overall a nice herb, imo not the best in town but definatley top 5. Reccomended if ya can swing the cost. 8.5/10

Liberty Haze

Still testing. Looks shit to be honest though, maybe cause I got 1/2 gram to try it. I will see tomorrow morning as it is being saved for tomorrow before takeoff.

Hunter's Coffeshop
The one with the fishtanks in the walls. I got the younger slim male budtender who was friendly and helpful very nice vibe in the shop when I was their. I also got the correct amount actually looked big for a gram.

ChemDog
This bud was nice looking with lots of crystals and a nice cure to it. It smelled of fuel and limes, it also tasted of fuel and limes. This is one of the best tasting strains I have had over the last few days.
Not the strongest strain in strength but not weak either. 8.5/10

Voyagers
Nice visit in this friendly little shop again HB is a good ambassador to the city for us herb minded folks.

SkyWalker OG
New on the menu replacing the beloved Kosher Kush. This bud compares very favorably to and even edges out the Kosher Kush in strength but isn't quit as tasty. What I did like is it seemed smoother with less coughing than the KK. Still has that great Kush flavor just not quite as strong as the KK. 9/10
Image

Pink Sour Grapefruit
Looks nice and crystally and nicely cured. Smells fruity and sour. Taste great loved the taste on this one. It is strong but not as strong as the skywalker og, but it makes up for this in the taste . Highly Recommended. 9/10

Will update soon. Thanks for looking!
