Im going to visit a friend who moved in with his dutch girlfriend in amsterdam. Lucky bastard

Staying in their apartment on kinkerstraat near Kashmir Lounge. Never been that far out west before looking forward to explore a new area. The plan is to visit Kashmir lounge, Bij, Boerejongens, Funky Monkey and 1 hulp. Other coffeeshops out west worth a visit?
Thursday night we have tickets to ajax-man u game at the arena. I might bring a few space cakes i don't think smoking is allowed. Any good places for a pre match beer/smoke near the stadium?
ajax have had a miserable start in 2012 but i expect an exiting game at the sold-out arena.
Im only there for 48 hours but ill try to look out for any t&ts posted.

There is a cafe between the station and the stadium. But other than that, not much outside the stadium.
Peace

Check out Hugo and de Supermarkt. Supermarkt has a Siberie-type menu, I believe. I want their green neon window sign.
There's the daily ten Kate markt that intersects Kinkerstraat. If you're there on a Sunday, Kinkerstraat turns into a market street.
Tram 17 rocks.

The complex around the ground is suprisingly good for home fans. Theres a big old bar thing area on a plaza area as you exit the station at the ground. Out of town stadiums with no pubs in walking distance are generally shit days out, but ajax have done it pretty well. You can drink in the stands all the time which is good, and also means no half time crush happens. No smoking in the ground obviously. We did, but in the better behaved home end you probably wont get away with it.

Thanks guys
@ matty Do you remember the name of the bar?
@ nimrod I think ill be using tram 17 a lot its a long walk from kinkerstraat to the center. A 48 hour pass for tram, bus and metro is only 12E!
@ CSS You mean the plaza outside Station Biljmer Arena right? No alcohol is sold inside the stadium- only in the VIPsection-stupid uefa rules.
Only 2 more days....
Any ACD members going to the game?
