Complete change of my plans bit of a bummer but also bonus included. Will not be going out in May due to work commitments. I can either go anyway and lose my job or i can get my money back for my hotel and flights. And the boss will pay my flights(return) from Glasgow to Amsterdam for my Birthday on the 18th August. So it is a bit of a bummer but it may be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully now I will be able to get my Brother or friend to come with me as they had work commitments in May too. So i would have been on my own. After reading the posts I have received i think it will be a good idea to have someone with me. Don't get me wrong big argument with the boss today over it. He knows I'm 1 of his best workers. When i get asked to work I work if you know what I mean. So he has compromised with me had to make him believe that I wouldn't get any of my flight money back and the hotel will charge me for 1st night. Of course none of this is the case so it's a win win situation for me. keep my job, hopefully fet someone to go with me and get my return fare paid for. And I'm trying to push for the 1st night hotel. May be pushing my luck with that though. But hey I'll try. Gutted missing may but I'll get over it. Say in about 5 months time. :D

This is really a good development, you're ahead financially and have better odds to bring a mate. August is nice too, and now you're even more solid with your boss. Kudos

Exactly Ed Yeah as I said bit of a bummer missing out on going in May :( . But in the long run it will be worth it. So roll on August 1st weekend night ever in the Dam. I have always went in the past monday-thursday or tues-fri so really looking forward to this time. Also everytime I've wnt it has always only been 3 days this time it's 4 so can't wait. Why does time drag when your excited about things. BUMMER!!!!
