May be a dumb question, but how did you add the bho to the joint? Was it sticky?
Not really sticky, more "crumbly". You need to warm it up (either with flame or your hands) to get it to a consistency that it will stick to the outside of the joint. Once you do that you just smear it on in a ring around the joint. Fire it up, next stop...funland!

Did you use the 0.2g on one spiff or did you share it out a bit more?

Great installment- thanks! I love the pictures- that grinder really lovely for framing the bud.

I am so glad you liked 1e Hulp! (A favorite of mine that I always root for.) I agree that we seem to be kindred spirits when it comes to weed. Perhaps we should get together once I go native as a cali girl. I'm only going to be a wee bit down the coast from the bay area, and my mr's people are up your way.

Your report is the best warm-up for my upcoming trip! :)

Great report Lamont. Thanks for sharing.
I'm not so sure about their BHO. Take a look at the many pics peeps have donated to the forum, especially USBL's Spoon.
Oil doesn't crumble.
... and if I can get an AMEN from the likes of Highlyblessed and other C/S peeps who know the law about BHO (Butane Hash Oil).

Again, thanks for sharing your moments and memories. Simply 8)
Happy trails...

@Uncle Ron yes I agree I think while they are calling it "BHO" it's really more of an isolator. When I showed it to HighlyBlessed at Voyager's that was his assessment as well, a high quality isolator

Thanks for this dude... 8)

Wholly 'effin bat shit Robin, 55 Euro for one gram of Isolator?
Some have a significant over-inflated sense of self worth.
I've proven that one can grow quality, top shelf gear for less than 1 Euro per gram, all in.
A byproduct of growing is sugar leaf, no added expense.
Probably the only expenses will be purchasing bubble bags, an electric mixer with attachments, and a bucket. Total outlay - less than 300 Euros.

:( very :( indeed.

The BHO was fun to try but tend to agree that it's kind of expensive for what you get....I enjoyed the sieve hash from Voyager's or the pressed trichomes from Grey Area more....better flavor and just as powerful if not more so.

I've always enjoyed the gear from Voyagers and Grey Area.

Day 4 – Wednesday

Hump day in Amsterdam is so much nicer when you start it off by smoking a morning joint of Chocolope + Citronella while enjoying the breaking early morning light along the Singel. My soul is filled with peace and contentment and my brain soars into the continuous Amsterdam cloud cover as I make my daily trip to Centraal Station and down on the Metro to Amsterdam Zuidoost for the day’s work. The mornings are cold and everyone around me on the Metro is red-cheeked, bundled up, but seemingly happy.

Image

After work I was finally able to cross another item off my Amsterdam bucket list, specifically going out for a traditional Dutch/Indonesian Rijsttafel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rijsttafel. My Dutch coworker picked the spot, Indrapura in Rembrandtplein. http://indrapura.nl This was a double bonus in that in my previous 3 trips to Amsterdam, I’d never made it to the Rembrantplein. The meal was absolutely delicious; here is a grainy iphone pic for your enjoyment:

After dinner I parted ways with my coworker who lives outside the centrum, spend some time walking around Rembrantplein and contemplated walking allt he way back to the Centrum. But the chilly evening convinced me otherwise so I hopped a tram back up to Centraal Station. From there I decided to finish up the night out with another stop at Voyagers. HB was there and greeted me warmly, this time I decided to give his Kaligria a look. The tub I was presented with smelled lovely with a bit of a spicy note. Yes sir 1 gram of that please! Oh and definitely one more gram of that lovely Pinaapple Sour Grapefruit before it’s all gone!

Walked over to the long “skinning” bar and pulled out the grinder to prepare the Kaligria

Voyagers – Kaligria (sorry I didn’t write down the price but I think it as 13 euro)

The weed ground up very nicely and I filled up a cone with about ¾ gram. Fired it up and was rewarded with a nice flavor that continued the slightly spicy note that I had smelled on the bud. It seemed well cured and burned easily to a nice light gray ash. The high on this one was kind of a creeper but not bad at all. At this point in the week my tolerance was starting to get pretty high but I did pass a pleasant hour at Voyagers watching folks walk by out the big windows of Voyagers.

Putting my jacket and hat on, I bid farewell to HB and headed out to the night. Made my way back to the hotel and finished off the night smoking a nightcap of 420 Kush from DeKuil on the fire escape of my hotel. This batch of 420 Kush was the best I’ve ever had with an amazing aroma of blueberry and cheese, and the effect was just as nice. It started out with a quick rush of “high” followed by a very nice “heavy-lidded” body stone. Very very nice indeed! Overall I was extremely satisfied of the quality of my purchases from DeKuil on this last visit...better than previous trips where I thought it was just ok.

That's all for now, this was just a quick installment, will try to get Day 5 (inlcluding an account of my TnT with gapie, bleak and hazy neville) up very soon. Thanks again for all the encouragement….

Most enjoyable journal, Lamont. I am very much looking forward to your account of a T&T with Gapie, Bleak & Hazy. With what I have read in various posts, and now that your tolerance is getting adjusted, a T&T with those 3 should be legendary!! Cheers!!
