Nice installment- glad I missed this yesterday, because it made for great reading with my wake and bake. It's nice to hear good reports from Hugo- I really like that shop.

DAY 3
I wake up early, around 8 AM and I roll a j as usual and take a shower. Around 8.30 AM I'm down in Nieuwmarkt and I'm thinking about which coffeeshop I can hit as first. I'd like to go to Paradox to chill a bit at the beginnig of the morning but I rember it not being opended before 10AM so I wait green place opening and stop there to smoke a fatty of AMG. ok now I'm baked, I take the bike and cross dam square, direction Westermarkt. When I come in to the shop there is only the usual nice and helpful budetender, not Ludo but the younger. no one in inside so I stop at the counter and have a look at the menu. I ask to see the finger hash (12E 0.8g) and the WW (5E 0.6g). both looks nice so I bought them. I also ask for a hot tea and one of their monster chocolate chips coockie for 1,4E. I sit to roll and enjoy my stash, the atmosphere is nice as usual. the widow is nice, maybe not as it used to be in the past but it's nice for a morning smoke plus it's cheap plus you can buy 5euro. the finger hash is really brutal, really strong mental effects. the taste really didn't impressed me but the smoke was really heavy. after 1 hour or so I get to handboogsstrat, dampkring I. the menu is large as usual but I'm more on hash hunting so I ask to have a look at their rifmann hash. he let me see habibi noor loubna and sensible. I opted for this last hash, sensible, new non the menu for 16euro/g. I bought 0.63g for 10E. it's really one the besst piece of hash in amsterdam at the moment and you'll have to fight with it 'cause it will stick to your fingers. I then grab something to eat at the near Mangerie La Place, I can say I really love this place, best food in town, also for the wide choice you have, vegetarian, fish, meet, pizza, pasta, shrooms, vegetables, soups, and then lot of briosches etc. yesterdy I planned a meet with Stan at voyagers for 1pm. I arrive 2 minutes late after bringing the bike back to Frederic, stan is already there . I buy 10E for 0.7g of G13haze from Voyagers and we enjoy it also smoking the finger hash. when it's 2 pm I go to central staion to meet a friend of mine coming for a 3 day trip. we meet on the platform coming from schiphol and I light for him immediatly a j when we get ouf of centraal. he is up from 5am so after smoking it he feels really high. he checks in and we stop in green place 'cause he wants to buy some smoke. he goes with a gram of Ghost Face Killer OG for 14E if I remember well, I go with the usual gram of Twizzla for 13E. the Face killer is not so tasty, but well dried and cured. it doesn't smoke so fruity or sweet but is kinda brutal. my mate smoke the j and start to feel really tired so he asks me to stop and have a 3 hours to sleep. ok I think, time to have a sleep for me too. it's around 6pm when we get up and realize that we were so fucking stoned that we fell asleep in 1 second. I roll my wake and bake joint of WW and go out for a walk to help us waking with the wind. We decide to walk direction rembrantplein. basjoe is full so we pass and decide to stop at bushdoctor. It was not soo cold so we decide to stop and have a smoke in their outside patio. we buy a gram of Maroc Lemon Haze, maroccan hashish on the menu for 20E/g!!do you belive it? It was really mad hash (and mad price of course., light brown outside with a light yellow/green shade inside. me and my frien share it, 10euro each. I must dmit it didn't worth the money but it was for sure a lovely piece of hash. we sit and stay there to smoke outside. when we begin to feel cold we decided to go to dampkring I, where i went this morning without my friend. the place is not full so we can take a sit nd order a hot chocolate. I then decide to have a new look at the menu and buy a sativa for the next morning (0.8g of Amn/G13 for 10E) and my mate buy a 0.5g super tbizla for 6euro. we leave with voyagers as destination but we stop only for a buy and fly at kandinsky. My mate buy 1g of blue cheese for 13E I think and I buy 0.7 g of berber hash for 10E. King hassan recommended by Cisco was not on the menu and 17,5E/g for Fatima's hand was too much after maroc lemon haze. we try the stash at voyagers where we buy too 0.7g kaligria for 10euro, a nice fruity smoke with nice effects, maybe not worth 14euro/g. the blue cheese is nothing special, lacked in punch and taste. the berber hash was good but I think for that price you can find something better in town. nice clean taste but I was expecting more for that price. in any case for around 12euro I'd buy it on my next trips, not for 15E. it's 11.30pm when voyagers close down so we walk down to nieuwmarkt nd stop at the hill street blues at the markt to have last drinks and joints for the night. the tea ther is best in amsterdam and fucking cheap for that area(1,5E)!!!we also ate 2 chocolate space cakes, best cake I've ever tried, better then paradox one I think. the staff has always been nice and helpful and never forced us to buy weed and hash from there. when it's 1am and everything is closing down we go sleeping.

DAY 4 24/02/2012

I apologize in adavance if my notes are not so detailed but it was a serious smoking session for me in these days, around 7g per day after a 4 months stop .
early wake up as always, I can't resist to get up when in Amsterdam, quite the opposite than at home. My mate was already sleeping so I decided to get a shower and to roll a joint in the meanwhile. When I'm baack from the shower my mate was already sleeping so I decided to go down to the green place to have the first smoke and witing for him: today is the de pijp day.
Luckly is nor raining and it looks like it is not going to. It's round 5°C I think, quite windy. When my mates gets down we drink a coffee and roll a joint for the walk. I decided to stop at the Noon as first. This is a favourite of mine since my first trip. It's a really relaxed and chilled atmosphere and tenders as always been polite and helpful. If you add cheap drinks and that they sell 5euro bags you'll discover an amsterdam lovely spot. Here I smoked some amzing blueberry haze in the past and some cheap blueberry. Also smoked some S5. This time I've not been impressed by the quality so I decided only to have a hot tea. My mate bought 1g of Honey hash for 10E which I rated 7.5/10. I wrote good quality for the price but not outstandig, it was a very nice polm but nothing special. We chill there for an hour or so and then we carry on our walk. First shop we stop is Club Media. Not first time for me there but this time I really appreciated the shop and it is now on my top 5 I think. We immediatly stop at the counter and start looking at the menu. No Hindu Kush. I ask to have a look to Champagne Haze and Pot of Gold which looked really amazing, big dense buds and fruity smell. I share a gram of that for 9E with my friend, really a bargain. Then I ask the tender to show me the zooltijes hash recommended by Cisco and I'm convinced to buy a gram for 12E.
We sit to smoke and enjoy the nice atmosphere there. The tender was nice and happy to have a chat on his gears and gave us cheap teas. I loved the shop and the PoG. What a sweet taste: it had also a strong smell that remained in my nose for a good 5 second after the tender put it away. The hash was of course really really nice but as I said was expecting bit more from it 9-/10. when we are baked we decided it was time to have a short walk and we follow the direction to Katsu that is near there. I like katsu for his nice selection of weed and hash but not for the lady tender but who cares, I like quality stuff and if I don't like the staff I can buy & fly.
I had 7 trips to the dam but every tender I met on all my trip 7 trips remember me and have a smile; she too remember me but never had a smile or anything like this: nothing rude or similar, simply not friendly.
I ask to see paroc hash which is a nice soft blond maroccan at 10E/g. I buy 1g and like it, nice mellow effects, not too strong and very earthy taste, I liked it! My mate bought 0.4g SoGouda Ice for 10E which tasted good but nothing special, don't remeber much about effects as I was smoking so much that days. After some smoking there we decided it was time to eat something, or better our smomaches decided it. We were walking direction De graal coffeeshop which was the next stop. On the other side of the street there was a Burgermeester so decided do pop in and have a burger. We order and take seats. We enjoyed the burgers, only thing wrong is we waitited around 30min after we made the order.
After that we cross the street and we are into De Graal. The menu is smaller then in the past, no more 3 iso on the menu, only 1 kind and the price went up from 16 to 25. Here I ask to see one of my favourites, Gardela, and Flower Power hash or something similar to that. Obviously I opted for a gram of Gardela for 15E. That's my kind of hash! It's a sticky sweet moroccan with storng mental effects, great high! My mate bought 1g of Kashmir which I rembered being the best in town and yes, I remembered well!!! Nice one, on the throat it's stronger than the Gardela but also strong body effects, I'd recommended you to smoke it in a chilum.
We spent there around one hour and half and after that we start our way back to Centrum to meet Gapie at Nes. When we arrive Stan was waiting for us inside the bar so I introduce my friend to Stan and we start to smoke and drink some beers. It's not too cold so we decide do sit outside. I ask Stan if DC is at work and he replied me is was playing pool so I went to the pool and greeted him and told there was also a friend of mine today. He kindly replied to wait him till the end of the pool game.
In 5 minutes he is outside with us sharing some of his outstanding Amnesia and we smoke too some hash from my stash and some Grey Area's KandyKush from Stan.
We enjoy the beers and the smokes and I really enjoyed the company too, thanks guys!
When it is around 6pm me and my mate decide to go out and buy some more smokes. Our choice is the Basjoe, first time after James sold it. The shop didn't changed too much in the decor, it's still nice and comfty, what really has changed is behind the counter, I missed James big smile and his “Back in town man!” already preparing some Cream Special he knew I loved. The menu too had some changes.
The guys are nice, kind and they served me with a smile. In my opinion they didn't seem to be so knowledged about their stuff so I decided to follow my nose. I opted for 1g of White Choco which costed me 12.5E, expensive if you consider that I found it several times around 7 8 euro/g in Boerenjongens. Anyway the weed was good, can't complain about quality. My friend bought a gram of Sour Diesel for 15E: expensive but really outstanding weed; fucking strong and sweet taste, one of the best weed of the trip for sure, it was a mistake we didn't buy one more g.
We smoked there 2 3 joints before dinner time and I can say that I really enjoyed the hour I spent there as I didn't expect also if it's no more the same without James.
When we wlk outside the night already covered the sky and we decided to stop for a moment in the room before dinner; cannot remember what we had for dinner as I didn't write it.
After dinner we made our way to harlemmeerstraat to hit Greenhouse Lounge. As I said in the coffeeshop review page I'm not a fan of their weed but I wanted to try their critical cheese cream which sadly wasn't on the menu. I had another look at the menu and asked to see Mexican Sativa Hash and Shoe. I bought 10E of each hash: the mexican hash was 17E/g and was light brown soft hash that crumbled in a moment when i touched it, really unbelievable. The hash was fucking strong! The taste maybe be better but you'll hardly score some stronger hash in town. Shoe was 18E/g and was darker and more sticky, similar to the sensible from dampkring. The taste was really sweet, I think it were pakistani strains grown in marocco. My mate bought 0.5g of Manali Jungliu Cream for 10E, do not remeber about taste but I wrote it was the best Manali I ever smoked in the dam. I ordered also a hot chocolate and some more drinks before we realized it was midnight. We start our way back to Nieuwmarket and stop in Hill Street Blues at The Markt for last drinks and a space cake. We finish our joints and go sleeping.

I can't sorry...what can I say is they have a huge menu with lot of choices in any price range...I recommend this shop, I've never been disappointed by quality...reserva x in the past was amazing and this time too it was, report to follow on DAY 5. In the past I smoked white rhino/G13 too which was outstanding and stella blue haze, maybe one of the best weed I've ever smoked in the dam
