I'm about to leave for a trip that will take me there next week. I was just going to bring my own (new) glass. I'm not a j fan. Will this be a problem? I'm just looking to chill and perhaps meet a few fellow travelers.

do you mean your pipe or vap if so you should be OK as long as it is new and unused. But you may have problems bringing it back unless you give it a good clean.
