Just came home from a quick solo trip, first time on my own in the dam, i quite liked it.

Arrived tuesday afternoon first stop was Babylon. no tidighin. no super babylon. got the the Kristal 7,5 E/g. Taste was good but it burned kinda weird? Checked in at the old quarter stayed in room 35 double ensuite room with canal view. 90 Euros. A high price considering how dirty it is but the view was nice and you're allowed to smoke
Decided to go for a beer at the beer temple. Surprised to see 4 taps with danish beers among the 30 taps they got. new favorite bar. Tried the 'two and a half IPA' brewed by De Molen. And route 113 IPA brewed by Slo Fox. Both excellent.
Now i needed a smoke. I haden't been to Utopia before so it was time for a visit. Young female budtender was friendly told me it was her first shift. She showed me the Crand Cru and i got 0.5 g to try it. Smoked a joint at the bar talking to the bud tender and a guy from Australia. The Grand Cru is great so i got 1 more gram for the road.
Merseyside derby Liverpool vs Everton was on so went to see it at cafe Nes. When i came in i had a look around for a place to sit but the place was packed. A guy came over saying something to me in dutch. I said sorry i don't understand. Then he said in english I'm the owner and you look like a fucking cop! At first i thought he was kidding but he kept saying it in a aggressive tone and he was obviously very drunk.
I wasn't there to look for his hostility so i left, sad experience because i always had a great time with dc behind the bar.
Had a nightcap in Arendnest on herengracht before heading back to the Old Quarter for some sleep. Warmoesstraat was pretty quite on a tuesday night except for the new burger bar. It was packed to the rafters with people drinking Heineken and eating burgers. They gonna earn a fortune in this place!

Got up early and on the street. hunters was open but the spanish bald guy was standing outside so i passed. I knew Picasso opens at 8 so decided to go there. There is a big sign on the front saying FREE BREAKFAST but when i asked for it the guy said that they don't do it anymore
Not even a free coffee when i bought 1 gram master Kush which was way too dry. Not a shop i see a reason to return to again.
Took the long walk to De Grall in the warm spring air. I wanted some Gardela. it was as always very good and oily. No kashmir on the menu forgot to ask for it. Walk through Sarpati park its a lovely little park can't be long before everything is blooming. Ended up at Yo YO. Very quite in here only two old ladies talking at the bar. Got the Amnesia (lamp) i couldn't feel any efx it was very mild. Tram back to centrum. Had a few beers at De wildeman it still is a top place.
Cafe 420 for some 'Red' hash 8 E/g. I think it looked better than the caramello which was 11 E/g.
Smoked the last joint in the smoker lounge in cafe Batavia across from the station before heading to schiphol.
Best smoke was Gerdela from De Grall
