Last Minute Shorty 17-19 March (30th trip?)

Have managed to squeeze in a couple of bonus nights. Lovely. Might as well make the most of it if our worst fears come to pass.

Fairly stressful following 1 booking then cancellation for no reason and 4 too-late-to-book's on AirBnB but hotel finally secured. Not ideal as less freedom to mooch, smoke, cook, make noise and let loose. But 3* double room on Marnixstraat for £100 so (hopefully) not too bad. And Burger Bar x 2 isnt that steep ;). Have had an inkling to try the Japanese Pancake place (in the Jordaan I think) too though.

Quick browse has left me pining for some Fantasia from Siberie and some White OG or OG Tahoe Ice from Green Place. Lots of good but conflicting as to which is the best reviews of Super Lemon Haze. Will probably opt for Voyagers if they have any as that's been my first stop last 5 trips (bar them being closed at 11am in Nov post-cup) as it p*sses on Central from stellar heights. Any other tips from this last week appreciated.

Will probably head to Nes around midnight on the 17th (Sat) if anyone happens to be around. Will probably have to hit the RLD to catch the Edinburgh derby on Sunday sadly but needs must.

Oh, and I I think it's my 30th trip but who can tell.

33 hours to that first spliff: and counting

And another thing, I always hesitate to take my camera out with me in Amsterdam. It's a totally false thing where I think "Pah, looks at thes e tourists with their cameras". But like it or lump it, i am a tourist, albeit a regular one. Really need to get a grip and just indulge and take as many photos as I can of this joyous scene as it is. First visit was in 1996 and none of us who wnet have any photos from that trip. Obviously unthinkable given the digital revolution but what I wouldn't give to know where I went and remembered (more) of it! Which leads us onto another debate about cameras and memory

But I've digressed enough.

You have been posted on the March Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Would you like your midnight at Nes posted as a Toke & Talk?

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You could practice with your camera by asking first and then getting some menu
pictures for the CoffeshopMenus page.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.
