Newbie to the Amsterdam soon

Post by matey1_mj »

Hi there!

i'm a guy from the north-west Poland (near the german border)
i found this website while looking for some coffeeshop reviews on the internet. This website seems to be great source of information i needed;)
I used to smoke more in the past when I was at high school, now I smoke rather rarely but finally i can visit Amsterdam for the first time. I'll also go to the reggae concert (Sizzla) at Melkweg on 30th so if there are any reggae fans on the board, join me, if you are in Amsterdam:)
I'll arrive in Amsterdam on 29th of March and will be leaving on evening 31st. I'm a solo traveller so it would be great to hook up with some members who will be in the city. I'm planning to see some sights and the Van Gogh museum, but I also wanna visit some good coffeeshops, i read a lot about them (Paradox, Anyday, La tertulia, Siberie, Katsu, Siberie seem to be my type:) I'll arrive just a few days after run in a half marathon, so if i'll have some back pain (which I had last time after a competition) I'll definitely try some medical herb  !

see you,
matey1_mj

Take care,

You have been posted on the March Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=77763

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Enjoy

Hi! We'll see you at the crawl at Voyagers on the 31st at 12pm if you make it. Getting close now!
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

Hey man

Hope you have a wonderful time and it lives up to your expectations.. try and avoid the tourist traps if you can.
I use http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/CoffeeshopMenus.htm to see whats available before I plan to go, mainly to see who has what strains.

One tip I would suggest.. go easy on the alcohol or the whole trip will pass you by in a blur!

Thanks for the link and advice! Yeah, I don't want to drink a lot ,maybe just a pint of some local beer, I'm going to Amsterdam to get high and go sightseeing
