Taking a partner to amsterdam!

Post by mrwurzal »

Hi guys & Gals...

I have managed to sway my girlfriend to come to Amsterdam with me in the new year.

The problem is, she is a non smoker, like a small drink and not really into her porn.

There are many other things to do in Amsterdam, but i have never really looked at doing anything else apart from the "lads on tour" style drink smoke and party and chill!

If anyone can help me with some things i can do to keep her happy i would appreciate it!!

I already know about the Heinneken Factory and the anne frank museum...

Thanks muchy peeps

Dan

-Shopping
-Strolling along the canals gazing at all the beautiful houses
-Live music (look out for the lunchtime free performances at the ConcertGebouw)
-Hot chocolate and apple pie at the Cafe Americain
-Tons of fantastic museums & galleries - Van Gogh and TropenMuseum are my all time favourites but there are so many good ones
-The Tuschinski cinema always has a couple of decent English language films on but the building alone makes it a special night out
-Diamond exhibition

You never know, she might get into the coffee shop scene a bit too, half a space cake brightens up even the boring museums

Yeah looks pretty cool compared to the various multiplex cinemas that seem to be cropping up.

Very stylish.

That looks great, never noticed it when i was there the last couple of times.
I could spend ages just staring at the building after a few spliffs!
Will have to check it out next time.

I am a girl and I took a girlfriend with me over there and we had a blast. She really hadnt smoked alot since high school, so she stuck to the milder stuff. I not knowing what to expect started with the mild stuff and by the end of the week was buying the top line stuff. It was awesome. When I go again, I am actually taking several people with me that have dreamed of amsterdam and now want to go for sure. One is leary of bringing his wife for fear she will dampen his time. I said to him, doesnt she like an occasional mushroom? he was like oh yeah, I told him she will love the smart shops. With that said, she will probably be going. Also, for the sake of people back home. we did the tourist stuff and that was cool too. So yes I think most women will enjoy themselves over there, but then again I am partial to amsterdam< now being one of my favorite all time places to visit, hehehe>

I think in some ways its good because you get to share the fun you have in the city, but if you have other priorities, I.E visting what the sex industry has to offer etc, then maybe you should leave the Missus at home!

A question for experienced Red Lighters springs to mind here. Are the booths strictly a men only area. Surely there must be certain establishments where the women will take women?

Just a thought.
