Hi people, just found out about this forum while researching about Amsterdam. I am planning to go to Amsterdam during my college easter break in April to de-stress myself from the whole college thing. Most probably will be travelling solo. Just wanted to ask whether is it safe for a female to travel alone to Amsterdam?

May also start trying the coffeeshops there. Who knows? still in the midst of planning.

What are you studying for by the way i'm curious.

One hint i'll give you, when you wish to try out some shops and you wish to smoke your joint inside the shop then there's a big ass chance that some kind of hillbilly breath smelling yellow teeth fucker will come sit next to you at your table, believe me it will happen almost every single time heh, that's what i usually do when i see some girl sitting all by herself...
Naw.. i'm just kidding i wouldn't know, but it could happen though so don't say i didn't warned ya :p

If someone dodgy talk to you at night in the RLD just ignore them and keep walking they'll give up in no time

idk , amsterdam has a range of people you gotta remember...

Tourists , drunk partying english/americans , locals , marrocans , gangmembers , accountants , police .
The list keeps going on .
But Amsterdam is a pretty safe place , in comparison to other countrys big citys


^Sure if i see a pretty woman smoking weed on her own in my local coffeeshop , i will accompany her .
If i'm in Amsterdam i dont think itll happen fast , cause im too focused on buying and smoking x]
