1st Trip. November 12-17th. Advice please!

Hey!

I will be making my first trip to Amsterdam in November, woo! So yea', 12-17th... just before Cannabis Cup. Am I expecting hundreds of people to be turning up just before the CC or do you think I'm safe the week before because they'll all arrive for the CC?

Is November just before the CC a good time to visit? I presume lots of fresh harvests in time for the cup.

I'm staying just off the Einsteinweg on Voorburgstraat. Any good nearby coffeeshops? Will be travelling to central as well; good places to visit?
