Bought at Barneys Lounge (Reguliersgracht) on June 25th. In no way did this compare to what I had purchased last year at the original shop. It scored 7 out of 10 in my little black book which is actually shit for weed this pricey. Won't touch it until I get another thumbs up report from an ACD member.

Got to say the DrG has never disappointed. Always smoked it first thing in the morning in the vape. Made me happy, sociable and motivated for the rest of the day. Long lasting too. A very clear high.

I'm thinking about possibly picking up a five pack of these, go through the flowering time, and hope that the clones/re-vegs would take less time. And keep whichever of the five plays best in my environment. It really is some tasty fine stuff

I was looking forward to the Grinspoon from Barneys as an early morning smoke. The high was excellent but certainly wasn't long lasting as I found out to my detriment on the train to Haarlem

Will be trying again on my next visit to see if this was just bad luck....All in the name of empirical science of course

Dr G from Barney's, along with the Irish Breakfast, a successful start to any Amsterdam visit.

Bought some DR. G from Barney's the past 2 times in Amsterdam (early June and early August). Both times I was shown the stash, I almost laughed as it looks like weeds. I know from the past times I had this (last year a couple of different times) that it does like odd, but the effects are gorgeous. I just finished my first couple of grams bought in June and am about to sample this latest stuff. The first round was very nice, but think I remember the stuff from last summer being a touch better. The latest stuff I bought in early August looked very skinny, but smells delicious..I will report back on the high in the next day or two.

How hard is this stuff to grow? I'd love to have a homegrown stash of this strain as I swear I get more quality work down when high on DR. G than anything else I have known.

Yeah, I have been traveling almost non-stop for the past 3 months and when I travel, I leave my stash at home in my safe. I am a light smoker as well, sometimes a gram of hash will last me 3 months!

Will be trying out the newest Grinspoon later today, the stuff I got earlier this month. I will let you all know how it compares to earlier versions.

Light smokers smoke 1 -2 grams a week..You are blue moon smoker............I travel every where wit bud...only time I do not is when I come to the dam......have traveled back home with bud from the dam...2008 took home about 5 or 6 grams.. 2010 just took home seeds....

I get high usually once every day or two, mostly preferring the hashish I bring back from Amsterdam 2-3 times a year...usually about 15 grams a year of hash and another 5-10 grams of whatever interests me. I am not so sure that moon is as blue as you may think. I only travel on vacation with smoke, work travel requires to much of me to "let go" enough.

Anyway, the Grinspoon is good to go. Had some last night about 30 minutes before going out with friends and it kept me going for about 2-2.5 hours....3 decent tokes is all it took. Too bad it looks like shake instead of fat buds. Once you get past that and enjoy the buzz, nothing really matters concerning appearance.

Thanks for sharing this. I'll be in Amsterdam next week, and I will drop by at Barney's again, so soon an update will come from me as well, including pics.

By the way, we also seem to have similar consumption patterns. I still have more than half of the three grams of Quaze Haze (Grey Area) that I bought in lieu of Grinspoon last time I was in Amsterdam, which is at least three months ago, probably four.

Went to Barneys Lounge today to try it again. Looked like shite, smelled like shite, even the taste was ... almost told the budtender to shove it back to where it came from. But later on it took it's full effect and now I'm pretty high from a tiny joint. So far I can't really complain. But please since you grow shitloads of it you could put it down an euro or two...

edit: the budtender didnt let me take a picture of the menu (nothing special about it anyway but wanted it for fbn), mumbled something about illegal.
