Again to confirm, a nice Sativa but you can get the same high for less money. Just go ahead and buy Quaze Haze (pure Sativa) at Grey Area (15€) and compare it with Grinspoon (18€). Imho Quaze is a few notches better. You will see what I'm rambling on about. Sorry guys but shit service plus overpriced weed equals bad reviews.

Well, the thing is, the first two batches of Grinspoon I had (of which there's a photo in the opening post of this thread) was definitely better than the Quaze Haze from Grey Area I got a few months ago. Not that the latter was bad at all, it was great, but not as good as the Grinspoon. However, the last batches of Grinspoon I had simply sucked, that's what lead me to open this thread.

Anyhow, I'll report back after the weekend to share my newest findings ;)...

Yes, and it was pressed as well. But given how this gear normally looks, it was an improvement.
The BT also advised against it, but I didn't listen...
I got toasted, so no complaints......... except the price.

I just registered on the board to post on a thread over a year old..

just because I happen to know exactly what this thread is about. And maybe the thread starter will some day see it, or maybe I can help future readers.

I have grown the landrace dr. grinspoon . It is also known as the bead pheno. And when growing it, it will look like this!

Code: Select all

edit: As this is my first post, the board wont let me post post pictures( what a dumb rule)
Here the direct links

hx xp:// freeimagehosting. net /uploads /2c5c7e020f. jpg

hx xp:/ /i3.aijaa. com/b/00013/7648832. jpg

make sure to correct the spaces

and yes, thats thc crystal glowing from the camera flash :P

This is the best smoke I've ever had. And it yielded 145 gram dry grown out of a 12 Litre pot.
I still got around 4 grams left of the original one, the weed is almost two years old and still packs that wonderful punch. I save her for special occasions and would be prepared to pay big money if I had this specific pheno available to me.

Unfortunately dr grinspoon also has other phenos. Of which all yield very little. Since I got lucky with the bead pheno, I've grown her three more times, but I have always gotten a faster flowering, low-yielding pheno (maximum ~30gr/plant). The high is also not as good as in the bead pheno.

I hope barney has not changed their product. Imo they had/have the holy grail of cannabis strains.

Someone here said to try "quaze haze". Such a strain does not exist.

Edit: and by the way, if u happen to grow out this strain. The bead pheno loves the nutes. She handled everything I threw at her. The other pheno(s) though, not so much, so go easy if u dont get the bead pheno.

Wow Waldo Swan, very impressive...
..thanks for sharing your pics.
How long the flowering period? I've read depending on the pheno, 16-20 weeks...
I'm still on the lookout for a "real" Colombian Gold, 14-15 wk flower; and a decent example of Colombian Black, 18-22 wk flower.

Happy Dr. G...
