1e Hulp's Angel Dust

I smoked this last April and found it a little racy for my taste. I am so glad J bought some or I would have really missed out. This batch has been left to flower longer and as a result has mellowed into a really lovely warm sunny high, that is mentally clear and social. More importantly, it’s really tasty. A cross between Chocolope and Buddha Cheese it has a sweet fruity chocolaty flavor on the inhale and a sweet and salty brie cheese flavor on the exhale. I’m not usually a vaporizer fan, but the bags of this that Gapie, J, and I shared at NES were good enough to eat. (11 e/g)

De Graal's Shaman

Outdoor (5 e/g) I was really high, and looking for something stoney. We rolled this up with the Kashmir Hash, and it really had a musky flavor that I did not find appealing. The combo was stoney, but time was short and this one didn’t clear the bar, so I left it after the first few hits. Buy the White Rhino there instead or the Durban Poison from Home Grown Fantasy. (Which J had and smoked really nicely- smooth and dreamy.)

Image
De Graal's Kashmir

Peppery earthy flavor with just a slight backbone of aromatic sandalwood. Rich chocolatey smell with a hint of mint. Heavy forgetful stone. Foggy and Strong with a significant time lag. Intense, long lasting effect. Nice hash. (16 e/g) I love that De Graal sells 5euro bags of everything on their menu, so you can sample several of their hashes and weeds.

Hugo's Afghan

The cheapest hash I've ever smoked, but not the worst by a long shot. (4 e/g) Earthy, fuely flavor with an undertone of pepper and sandalwood. Really minty smell with a hint of chocolate. Pliable and slightly sticky. Strong foggy stone. Slight waxy film in the mouth. I am not usually on the market for cheap hash, but I bought half a gram of this for 2e because I am a curious monkey, and that's a cheap price to satisfy my inquisitive mind. (How will I know what cheap hash is like unless I smoke it?

On the 5th and 20th of every month, Hugo has a 25% off special all day (2 grams for the price of 1.5) . If I wanted to get stoned for no money, this seems like the deal of the century.

Image
1e Hulp's Buddha Cheese

A favorite of mine. The last batch I had was a little prettier. (It was the prettiest buddha cheese ever, so I was due for a come-down.) This was still really great, with a nice cure on it so that it was very flavorful. Blueberry and creamy cheese. Happy warm social stone. Well balanced. I could smoke this all day long. (10 e/g)

Image
1e Hulp's Intensive Care

I smoked some of this because I missed my husband and it's his favorite. A lovely dirt-grown organic indica for 7 e/g. Cotton candy and pine smell. Sweet white flavor with a lingering rosemary kick. I love a nice stone, and this always delivers. Level and relaxed. Great for mixing with hashes if you smoke pure like us crazy Americans.

1e Hulp's Zero Zero

I really like this hash, and can never get over the 7 euro price tag. You would easily pay 11-12 euro for this quality in the centrum. Fresh and pliable Moroccan, always so clean. Lemon pepper and mint smell, with a whiff of sandalwood. Great fresh sandalwood flavor with background mint and pepper. Relaxed calm stone. Not the strongest, but strong. I love to mix this hash, as it tastes good without overwhelming the flavor of whatever weed you are rolling it with, and adds a solid relaxed stoney base to the experience. It has saved many a racy haze for me.

Image
Hugo's AK 47

Another well-priced weed at 8 e/g. Grapefruit and green tea aroma. Lightly fruity on the exhale with a bit of a tropical edge. A little birdy ran into some problems with under-flushed weed at Hugo a while back and warned me to be cautious, so when the dealer asked what I was after I made sure to emphasize that flush and cure were the most important things to me. She recommended the AK47 and it indeed was a nice example. I love smoking some of this strain as it was a favorite on my very first trip, and I find it peppy and social, even if it's not as strong as some of the "hotter" weeds right now.

The dealer de-stemmed the weed for me, after confirming that I was going to smoke the weed straight away, which was truly excellent service. I always like the dealers at Hugo.

I finally signed up. I can't tell you how much fun I had this past weekend. A big "Howdy" to Gapie, Geekymoney, DRA, Largefella, jollylittle hun and many others. I made a few notes or else this past weekend would have been a blur.
YAY J welcome to the forum! Y'all, Old Geezer totally smoked Gapie and I under the table, and he's so much fun to talk to. Hopefully he'll do a trip report too, because he smoked a ton of great stuff and really knows what he's talking about.

Thanks! The light was moody, so it was fun to work with. To me, it really gives everything that "early spring" feel

I actually took a lot more pictures of the city this trip, so there's that to look forward to when I get around to the stories. (Plus all sorts more yummy weed pics. It's killing me to just pull one from each set right now to start with, but I'm trying to get the weed info out there while it's still of use to all the 4-20 folks.)

Lamont, vinyl, SloWhite, Old Timer, Colino, cornish pixie, Catt and craig- Thanks for the encouragement. It really helps keep me rolling.

ftcarer- I would take that 35 euro and buy 10euro of de Graal's Gardela, 5 euro of the kashmir, 10 euro of 137's isolator, and use the other 10 euro to make my next 4 grams of weed totally top-shelf. In case you were asking my opinion  . Also, by then it just may be around, you never know.

ACDlurker wrote:Another great trip report GM, I'm thinking I'm going to have to visit some of these shops and and buy what you did cause they all sound AMAZING when you describe them. I think that G-13 looks good. I've always had regular Amnesia or Amnesia/G-13, but I'm interested to try the G-13 on its own. Though it would be kind of fun to get all three of those variations and try them out. Anyway I'm rambling, Great Stuff! 8)
That sounds fun, and just like something I would do. I actually have never smoked the Amnesia/G13, but everyone says really good things about it. G13 is such stoney goodness. (And of course I'm thrilled to hear that you might check some of these places out- I love them :) (

Gapie- I miss smoking with you!

Yeah, I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to how things taste. I've always been an avid foodie and cook, into wine, homemade candy making, blending my own spices, not to mention totally orally fixated. (And so hard to shut up.)

Who would have thought all that would combine to make me really, really good at smoking weed? Mad weed smoking skills here

edited to add, thanks for the lovely compliment!

1e Hulp's Edelweiss

8 e/g for more soil-grown indica goodness. This has some bubblegum in it's genetics according to 1e Hulp's owner. Small, dense, crystally nugs gave off a pleasing bubblegum and musky skunk aroma. The taste was bubble yum and civilized funk. The stone was bubbly, chatty and nicely sunny. I would gladly smoke more of this.

Image
Shop Cat, 1e Hulp

While we're on the subject of Bubblegum, I totally had a chance to smoke some of
Internet Cafe's Bubblegum when the 3 smoketeers (Gapie, Old Geezer and I) ran into Ohm and Tutti, at 1e Hulp on Saturday night. Ohm and Tutti are so lucky to have this shop right by their Uke Boutique! Hopefully they can tell us more about where this mysterious coffeshop is, because I was way too stoned to take in the details. It was nice bubblegum, sweet, happy and well flushed.

Old Geezer also got the Bubblegum at Siberie, which also seemed very nice, but that I only smoked mixed with the power plant so I can't tell you more than that. It was around 9e/g there though, maybe.

Voyager's Temple Ball Hash

My last morning I bought some of Voyager’s temple ball (13.50 e/g), as I hadn’t managed to make it by Solo. I was thrilled to find it the kind of temple ball I prefer- oily, soft, and clean. Lightly chocolate, anise, and mint smell and lovely sweet licorice flavor. Peaceful cottony high, so relaxing it almost seems stoney, but with a lovely mental clarity. Like floating in clouds.

Image
Voyager's Wild Lemon Haze

Raunchy full bodied lemon smell and lovely crystally buds. Fresh lemon candy flavor with a little aromatic hot cinnamon to the finish. Nice sunny high with a golden brightening to the visuals. A great deal at 10 e/g. Not the strongest, but a lovely well cured bud that’s nice for morning.

The combination was perfect for a chat. Creative, engaged, and relaxed without being at all couch-locked or draggy. The taste together was great as well, the anise notes of the hash amplified the lemon flavor and added a nice spice to the finish. I'm a silly monkey, so if I'm smoking a mixed weed and hash joint by myself, I will make my sausage short. If you make your hash about half the length of joint, then palace it on the filter end, you can get a taste for the pure weed and an understanding of its effects before you add the hash.

Image
Voyager's Temple Ball and Lemon Haze

I love Voyagers because the price of the weeds on their menu actually reflect the quality of the buds, rather than just charging what they can for each batch regardless of whether it’s good or bad. And, the shop is always an excellent value, with the best quality:price ratio in the centrum.

Image
Voyager's Moroccan Hash

A really nice, fresh more pollem-styled Moroccan hash. Great value at 8 e/g. Sandalwood and mint aroma with a pronounced lemony sandalwood flavor. Smoother than 1e Hulp’s zero-zero, with a heavy level stoniness that caught me by surprise. Lovely hash, so glad HB mentioned it to me.

What a great trip report. I started out taking notes on each coffee shop and what I smoked. But before I left I counted 8 unknown empty bags from 3 or more coffee shops whose name I don't remember. You filled in a bunch of blanks and foggy areas in my memory banks. I had a great time and will be back. So many strains so little time.
