Cheers BB, as it was my first time in Amsterdam I wanted to expolore the city and see as much as I could in the time available.

Just for the record, I'm not a Ross County fan, I follow Raith Rovers and have done for 20 years. We are currently fighting to avoid relegation to the 2nd Division and the last minute penalty helped us gain a vital point.

Hi Mr. Nice, I am just getting around to reading some of the more recent reports. First of all I love the nickname. I just read the book on the advice of Boner (gosh I miss him). I loved it. I am a big mr nice fan now. I know about them whiteys. I was warned before going to amsterdam to watch out that one can tend to over due it there first trip there so I have never had a whitey BUT I have smoked some stuff that made me hallucinate before which I thought was impossible with pot but its true. I will never forget sitting in t Nes with a bunch of ACDers one year and islandgirl lights up this joint that has a mix if annanuki (which I havent seen around in the few years) and some red lebanese hash and before I knew it I told her I had to stand up and walk. i was seeing tracers on everything. Brought me back to my acid days. lol. Was a wonderul experience. Sounds like you had a great time for your first trip. Hopefully there will be many more. Cheers.

Thank you Cattales1960, the whitey was due to my own stupidity, alcohol and weed are rarely a good combination in my experience.

Regarding Mr Nice, have you seen the film yet staring Rhys Ifans as Howard? It's good but like any film that's based on a book, it's never as good and there are things left out or quickly covered. I have also read the second book called 'Senor Nice' which continues on from the first book and follows Howard on his stand up tour and journey to South America where he tries to find evidence of Welsh settlers in Patagonia. Also, his wife has written a book and it gives her side of the story, It's worth a read.

Cheers man, I had a great time, so much so that I will be back again in December! This time, I will be arriving in the morning and can ease myself in rather than arriving at night and going crazy. I need to work out how to upload pictures in preparation of my next trip as it certainly enhances a travelogue. I'm starting to day dream about it already...............
