Is it bad that I don't think a lot of the tracks posted are something to feel guilty about? A lot of the artists mentioned I play out regularly... KC & The Sunshine Band, The Detroit Spinners, Kool & The Gang, Prince etc. It's good music, don't feel bad about it

Here's some stuff to feel guilty about... I have played these records out a few times in recent years and they go down a storm every time on the dancefloor. I have unashamedly camp taste in music. Here's some vest and rubber hotpants disco to hide your face to after you feel your toes tap.

Belle en Sebastian's The Blues are still Blue.
Love the T.Rex-style vocals, glamrock swagger, 96 Tears organ, Keef-style guitar solo... etc.!

Oh Hell Yeah! The first record (any old enough to remember those?) I ever bought was Kiss' Rock 'n Roll Over. My favorite music to listen to while under the influence, other than Pink Floyd, Zappa and the Beatles, is classical music. I don't know if it's a guilty pleasure but it seems that few people listen to the old masters anymore. Next time you're baked, try some Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, etc. It will rock your world - especially Beethoven.

As for really guilty pleasures, here's one I kept singing to myself last time I was in the Dam, although I was having a GREAT summer:

I love this French edit. I first heard it on Groove Armada Late Night Tales. Which is a fantastic album to kick back with.
