The story so far...
The story so far...
Just back from Bebop in Leiden w/bubble gum. Cool spot, the haze cost more than the stuff at crush
Got lost trying to find 1e hulp yesterday (think it was the jetlag and winter like chill), ended up at crush with Amnesia... Stumbled into another spot I can't remember, met some cool locals who wanted to know about Obama. Good times roaming the streets.
Went to t' Gierenest... think this spot is local only, as the bud-tender saw me and the wife and decided he would not help us and walked away. Patient me gave it a while...but oh well, on to the next one.

Re: The story so far...
So, once regrouped...back out to Grey Area but it was closed, then to Amnesia which was a pretty fly spot. Hung out there with some LSD, Amnesia Lemon, and Old School Haze which was what the Bud-tender recommended when I asked for the strongest sativa. The wife and I played cards for a while-great music, chill vibe and on point tender. Will stop back before I leave.
Thurs. Morning off to L'Tertulia to check the Mother and Daughter duo. Hung there for a sec with some Jack Herring and AK-47. Not the BEST chill spot, but did get a kick out of people thinking it was a cafe and upon opening the door take whiff of the sweet aroma and turn around. I also grabbed an already rolled pure shiva for the walk.
Not to far from L'Tertulia's we went to Johnny's to "hot box", with some sour d and big buddha chesse that was crazy! A cool budtender who showed us pics of huge crop's.
Then it was a quick walk to Dolphins, where we hung out and smoked some of what we already had. Another cool lounge spot with good music.
From there we end up at Dampkring where we tell the bud-tender we want sativa, but no Haze. He popos up with C5, which I must say I'd smoke everyday if I could.
Quick stroll thru the red-light---
then
then
finally
We end at Voyager, as they are closing we can only grab and go, so we go with space cake and chocolope that is being rolled as I type.
I must say not only was the ACD map helpful for finding shops, but also helped me get around Amsterdam today. Good times people.
In honor of 4/20, we're gonna start out the morning at Barney's Farm/Coffeeshop...and crawl from there. Hope to finally meet some of you.

Re: The story so far...
So we stuck to our guns and went to Barney's Farm at about 9:30. Saw nothing impressive on the menu, so we went to La Grotte for breakfast...had a smoke before and after.
Then to Popeyes for that snowwhite. Hung out with locals, then to Any Day where we rented a vaporizer and had sharkzilla. Right after that we end up at Utopia. Nice spot and good people, so we get some Edelweiss (spelling?). Homegrown was packed, and the same with Grey Area, so back to Amnesia to bring in 4/20 with kinds that I can't remember at the moment...then Barney's Uptown to eat and do more smoking...Early night, as we'll be in Haarlem at 10 tomorrow

Re: The story so far...
I'm really enjoying this- thanks for sharing!
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.
Re: The story so far...
So it comes to an end...after 4/20, on the 21st we go to Haarlem for the Cannabulyimpics(?).
We hit all the 12 shops and even beat two records on brd. They said my wife had the fastest joint roll of any of the women, clocking in at 45sec.
First was Key West to find my white widow, and sit in the movie style seats...a kool place if it's not packed. Bubble gum from Join Us. this was a rec, by a friend who just returned for Haarlem.
Trying to hold on to a little funds for food, we got the Budgetwise that kept us moving. Forget where the green krack was from. However my last stop (#11 on the map) I picked upmore white widow to compare to the first place I stopped off, and it was much better in taste smell, and high. After that hung out saw a crazy ass parade outta of nowhere, got lost, train crash so stuck we stuck around Haarlem for a while...good times. I recommend Birdy's for anyone going to Haarlem, not the best bud but a real kool and welcoming atmosphere.
Sunday was a tourist stroll thru Vondelpark, and outside the park was Tweedy's where we got...ah
and we got Tweedy which the bud-tender knew nothing about, but I'll tell you it was a cross between Cheese and something else...I went thru alot of there stuff but can't tell you what it's crossed with. Now with our minds right, we go to Van Gogh Musu...
Fade Out...
Now we entr Voyager where we sit down for a quick pow-wow... with a Crazy cat and Strawberry Bliss, we did get something else, but this stood out like WOW (I have it all written down in my book). Then a pre-rolled pure Candy Kush to blow on our walk...superb.
Next day...let's see... Barney's for breakfast and a smoke...much better this time. Then Grasshopper (need my book). Then hopped the train to Utrecht where we went to Andersom, which had a kool set up and we got...Powerplant, that put us on our ass for the ride back to Amsterdam.... back, went to Bluebird and got...uh...um, yeah, so after that we called it a nite.
Tuesday? I think it's Tuesday...I have no concept of time, and if I found a job here tomorrow I'd stay. Love this place.
So one place that's not on the map, and should be, is Yo-Yo's....what was supposed to be a 22min walk turned into a confusing 2hr walk to find this place, and then frustration set's in. But we found the spot, our first smoke of the day, and our first outdoor since we've been in town.Yo-yo's is we'll light, not a dark basement, so you'll see a lot more women sitting in this place
. We got Hindu Kush which is really good od but the Santa Maria's not anything to flip about, but at 5uro a gram....yeah.
So long Amsterdam.
Next stop Rotterdam. Can anyone recommend a coffeshop I should check out?

Sounds like fun *except train snafu*

Re: The story so far...
So the story comes to it's conclusion for now. Out of Rotterdam and back in the Chi.
Hit a few coffeeshops in Rotter, but must say for the most part, the local's don't take to kindly to strangers.
Sorry no pics, I do have some, maybe I'll get around to posting.
Thx to Acd'ers for reading, and the site cause it helped out a lot more than I expected as far as getting around the Dam.
Had a ball and any first timers going out there - might I recommend you def rent an apt. People said that to me but I now know for next time.
And read that book, how not to get hit by a bike, even though I still almost caused a Massive bike on bike pile up.
Till next year.
