25th trip booked - 2 june

Post by CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY »

just seen an unbeatable price online, so i couldnt resist and with a knee jerk reaction, ive booked up for a short day trip.

cost only £16 return :D , but its on the dreaded bus  as much as i hate the idea of an 11 hour bus journey, i couldnt resist.... again.

this will also be my second solo trip, and a short one again, as i arrive on the morning of the 2nd june, and then head home the next morning. so essentially its as a day trip.

now to search for a cheap hostel bed somewhere

fucking love amsterdam! back i go again :D :D :D

So ive put the deposit down on a dorm bed in 'travel hostel' which is directly next to babylon coffeeshop and a stones throw from the grasshopper, neither of which will be getting my custom.

I have to stay up in the centre because ive found out im gonna gave to walk to zeeburg p&r coach station as my bus home departs at 8:20am and the first tram on sundays out that way cuts the time too close, so a long walk getting up at 6am it is!

Plans so far are to visit voyagers (has to be done), utopia (never been and hearing good stuff recently) and if i can be arsed to get over that way 1e hulp (was my first ever shop back in 2000).

Beer wise i want to visit t'ij brewery again, maybe the one that gapie works in, and 'in de wildemann' pub near 420. Hopefully ill visit nes cafe in the evening too, love that place.

Foodwise, i have been reading about rijstaffels and would like to try that too. Vapianos up by the library is amazing though so if im up that way come dinner time, i may just end up there again.

Cannot wait!

Likewise, I've got Utopia and Voyagers on my radar after recently logging onto here again...

GVB Nachtbus 359 leaves from the bus station at CS that leaves at 7:12 arriving at 7:40. It's only a 100 meters or so to the P&R. If you decide to walk at least the Sun will be out. Enjoy your trip!

Peace

For Rijstaffels I can recommend Indrapura (see my last trip report):
