04:20am that is!
Since I have non stoner activities planned for today I got up early to have a toke of the Critical + which is now a pretty good smoke after a few weeks curing. It almost has a complex food taste to it and the smell is wonderful. Takes me right back to Amsterdam!
There is a tiny bit of a harsh after taste. Not too bad considering what I put her through but with the amount of water I flushed through her added to the time I spent flushing at the end (at least 3 weeks) I think the slight harshness is probably down to the cure not being quite right as she did dry a bit faster than I expected.
The stone is quite intense but not so long lasting as the Blue Widow.
Next on the menu will be some Blue Widow. Will be smoking a little of this later on in the late afternoon. As early as 4:20pm if possible but most likely later.
The Blue Widow has a real taste of Blueberries when smoked. I was surprised by the full flavor. It also tastes quite sweet which I think is the molasses coming through.
It is a great daytime functional smoke. The stone is there just not very noticeable after a while as the high takes over then falls into the background for a long lasting functional high. Any normal task is possible. An easy going type high. Lasts a long time.
