Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Greetings Everyone!

Well, 17 more days and I land in Amsterdam. So excited for the time to come.

As I have been reading more from the forum lately, I've been searching for the shops that open earliest. I see quite a bit of conflicting info and I was hoping I could get some feedback.

On the coffee shop links, some of the operating times are listed..and some said 9a. But as I do general reading on the forums, I read where some folks went to these cs's and they werent open til noon or 1pm.

I know nothing is written in stone, and things change all the time..BUT..I would appreciate any info anyone can share.

My issue is, I land at 7am...and the friend I am meeting up with does not land til nearly noon...and the room isnt ready to ck in til 2p. What to do..what to do.

I figure I need to locate the cs's that open the earliest and set up a TnT. I'd rather NOT sit at the airport all morning..

ANY ideas or suggestions would be great!

I'll add that Utopia is open by 8.30 am daily.

Well Voyagers is handy for the station and the weed is good there. Decent place to hang out too.

I'd avoid Hunters early in the morning as that is usually that asshole Spanish budtenders shift. He can ruin anyones high

Thank you for the heads up about that bt at Hunters. One of my daily goals is asshole avoidance. Nothing stinks quite like a buzz killing asshole.

I gathered from recent trip reports that Voyagers wasn't open until 9:00, but maybe that's seasonal.

@ SS67 , if you read this , maybe a little update to your original post may be in order i know I check that post before every trip

Hello lexi I was think which can be dangerous lol but bare with me Voyagers would be the best place opens 9:00am sundays we arrive 8:30am by the time we all get in to town 9:00am sounds about right can't wait to share a bowl doobie what ever of their best hash and smoke they have as well you know it's very importent to get your mind right first thing if you agree I think FlybyNite is the man we need to talk to. cheers

I'm fairly sure Voyagers doesn't open until 10am these days.

I think they may open earlier on Fri/Sat.

Ya ya'llwe set the TnT at Voyagers at 10:am just to be safe a couple of us will be at central earlier do to early flight & late check in lol cheers

you could get the bus from Schiphol to Marnixstraat and it will drop you just up the road from 1e Hulp which opens at 7
