Repercussions for carrying weed through Schiphol

iv been to dam 8 times and iv brought back a selection of weed and hash every time! the way i see it is if they are looking for it then they are going to find it where ever i hide it so i just put it in my luggage, pockets, shoes or all 3! no bud butt plugs! its not necessary lol once i managed to get 12 grams to the UK with it in my backpack no problem! ok its not a smart thing to do at all and i dont recommend any one tries it! but i loved every minute of it lol the rush i got going through customs was amazing and i know ill continue to bring weed and hash home until i get caught lol and when i do get caught ill probably do it again if i got the chance! some people will never learn lol!

I always chuck a 3-4g bag of green in a pocket of a pair of jeans in my luggage. Never been caught but will do the "sorry i didnt realise it was in there" type of excuse if I ever do.

My Dutch friend, who lives in London, does this all the time whenever he's been home. He's been caught twice (out of about 50+ trips) used the "sorry didnt realise it was in there" and they have always just taken it off him with no other repercussions.

1g bits of hash can easily be hidden in carry on luggage.

I think if you really try and hide it (ie putting it in a shampoo bottle) it makes it clear that you've attempted to smuggle, if its in a pocket of jeans screwed up in the corner of your bag, it's a lot easier to blag that you didnt mean it.

I do try and make sure it's not too stinky though.

As has been said, unless you're trying to conceal it (and a large amount) that's not really what they're looking for, on the Dutch side anyway! Would be much more concerned about the security at the destination.

exactly man! trying too hard will just get you caught! its a lot easier to relax when you got weed in your pocket and not in your ass! lol ...but... even if i did get caught i think id just be honest and say.... i just wanted to take some home! im so sorry mr customs guy! lol

Personally i cant do it. I'd go to peices if i did. Plus i like to enjoy my wobbly mellow space cake time in transit without a grain of paranoia. However not only do i absoloutly curse myself for not doing it every single time when i Land as theres never any bloody checks!

well carrying thru the airport isnt big deal, i lway go to the airport with a joint or 2 in my pocket, go check my bag, check in, then back outside for a smoke or 2 before customs

Bit simplistic UncleRon, there's sometimes a rebel in all of us, or some people who like to live life "close to the edge", lol, not necessarily just because they smoke dope - not really related imo. Walking through Schipol and my mate got stopped - the customs guy found a pre rolled in with my mates cigarettes and just looked at him and in a thick dutch accent called him a naughty boy, [i]gave it back[/i] and sent us on our way!

When the paranoia disappeared we laughed our heads off!

it ain that bad...i always roll a spare for the airport in case i get put on stand by....ive forgotten twice duh and had no problem throwing it away in front of customs...they have a laugh and i get to go home

A security team member told me that they often overlook a bit of weed. What can cause problems is taking away the weed and making the guy angry. An angry guy with access to free alcohol can lead to inflight problems. However, a guy who has some pot on him will likely try to keep a low profile during the flight. However, the guy then has to get through security on the other side.

The security folks don't really care about weed. Their focus is security in the airport and on the plane.
Of course, the customs folks on the other end DO care about what you bring into the country. So that is where the real fun starts.
