Why dont you try next time you go? bet you could do 20 easy in 18 hours, (unless you weigh 20stone or summat), Some of the C/shops were so hot i was only in there for a spliff and an OJ.

Like i said, and as you should know, a lot of the coffeeshops are very close to each other. i.e 10yards apart, so walking wasnt an issue.

Flyby had a link to as good of a working postulate for what constitutes a visit as any.To Quote:

"Confuzn had some basic rules to his crawl, so if you want to beat his record you got to do the same.
This was the basic concept, I think. Correct me if I am wrong...
1) 2 people smoke at least 1 gram of hash or bud in each shop. You don't have to buy a gram in every shop you go, just got to smoke that gram between 2 people.
2) spend at least 45 minutes in each shop. "

If it was not easy to clariify what a vist is, but this is a good start.

The idea of goal oriented crawls was also a good idea. Small shops, Hash only, marathons, etc.

Any excuse for a party is really all that's needed.

Too much structure can bog down a good crawl, on the other hand, it sure is fun to prognosticate over some of the more esoteric aspects of crawls, visits, and some kind of scale to measure your actual party performance and compare to experiences of others.
Burnt crisp outside...well done on the inside.

Thing is, you'll need to be flat out sprinting to get to 24 shops in a day, spending 45 at each. The 45 minute rule seems a bit limiting, as there's only 32 instances of 45 minutes in a day.

Never in a hurry, get to as many as I get to. If I don't llike atmospher of shop I go some where else. Certainly lots of shops, some close together, some not, but I see no need to try and do 20+ shops in a day. Must be getting old

cant think exactly most i done in one day, prob only about 5 or 6 though

i prefer to chill just see where my legs take me, wonder about and stuff

a crawl seems like it takes the point out of goin to a coffeeshop for me, which is just to pick up, and chill and roll up.....not get there nakkered and leg it after a few mins
