Just passing through so have taken the chance to get some more final visits to the Dam. Not really expecting much from these trips which are just glorified stop overs really.
The town is very busy during this time so might try and stay in Haarlem for the 2nd leg.
Going to do a little shopping. Hopefully can find some good Hydro shops and explore Haarlem of course.
Looking forward to visiting some new places this time like Utopia and a few others that I've missed during past visits. Of course I'll be on a bike riding about and getting lost as well!

Hey treetop! Me and a friend will be in town on the 26th-28th, if you're still around on the saturday we should smoke it up!
Peace!
How busy? (like in comparison to september or january?)treetop wrote: The town is very busy during this time so might try and stay in Haarlem for the 2nd leg.

Hi Dun. Sounds like a good idea although I might do a Haarlem 'Cannabis Olympics' crawl on that Saturday. For some reason I think it might be pretty nice out and about there on a Saturday as opposed to Amsterdam which will be awash with tourists.
Much busier than Sept and especially Jan which is pretty quiet. It is the height of the Tulip season during May. As of now I don't have a room either and may end up staying in Haarlem anyway as there is a decent looking 3 star hotel available there for a reasonable price.
Also I'm beginning to suspect my only win on priceline bidding for 25-28th May in Amsterdam will be the bleedin Movenpick (again) which is a little isolated and has a ruddy great flyover to cycle up and down every day and night to get into town!
Haarlem Olympic crawl on Sat anyone?

Good call on the Cannalympics. All you have to do is get the play sheet stamped at each shop and you will get an "I Did It" medal. Now the event at each shop is another story. If you think you have a chance of bettering the record, go for it. Some are just fun to do anyway.
You will have a great time.
Enjoy
