Hey all. Posted in the introductions section, but I'll post here too. Going to be in Amsterdam for my second time at the end of June. Me and my good lady fly into Schiphol from Glasgow at about 8pm on the Wednesday night and come home about 5pm on the Sunday. I'll be celebrating my 40th 
birthday on the 28th.
The last time I was over was about 15 years ago. 96 or 97, it was the very last season Ajax played at the old Olympic Stadium. I vaguely remember going to see them beat Feyenoord 2-0. This time round I have the benefit of a half-decent job to fund things. Last time we stayed in a complete dive in the red light district - Hotel Centrum - complete with graffiti on the walls in the room and we were pretty much scraping by. This time round we're staying at the Moevenpick. We've also managed to get a hold of tickets to go see The Brian Jonestown Massacre at Bitterzoet on my birthday. As I said in the other thread, we're also planning a day out to either Haarlem or Alkmaar.
As far as the weed goes, I'm actually a wee bit worried. I hit it on the head about 3 years ago, so I have absolutely no doubt that a joint now will knock me sideways. All good tho. I'm sure I'll be back in the swing of things by the first morning there
Anyways, just wanted to share it. I'm really buzzing about visiting again.
