kkchome and Rvan, thx for your feedback.

Rvan, would you avoid Finger in any circunstance? Or even it´s being different from batch to batch you still thinking it deserves to be bought? - specially by someone who go just 1 x / year to the Paradise :)

I will have to be different and suggest the Gardella from De Graal , there are better hashes around than yer list IMO

Also Berber , Fattimas hand , ReservaX , Gredela many many more get yer nose and eyes engaged rather than taking recommendation it is what it is

Cisco thx for your opinion mate. Those hashes of my list were taken after a few months of reading this forum and users travelogues - and seems they are really good deal. If they are or not the best must be a personal issue (you can think they aren't the best and others can think they are the best).

I will have only 3 days in Amsterdam so I cannot loose time going in thousand of CS and trying all of them - unfortunately not at this trip. So the unique choice I have is to go directly to the best reviewed CS and order for the best reviewed strains/hashes - although I agree with you that our noses and eyes are the best tips hehe.

Anyways, Gardella from De Graal seems to be really cool - I've read some fantastic reviews about it - and now I am intending to go to this CS which I also heard has a nice atmosphere to chill - what I am looking for.

If possible, could you specify whats the CS that has Berber, Fattimas, ReservaX ?

Thx once more mate and I hope you comprehend my case is more ``straight to the point`` then ''all menu courses'' hehe. In the end, everyone will be stoned. Fact.

No worries Bro I totally comprehend  and I'm a massive ambassador for Zoltjes so that would be my vote out of your list

Anyday and Kadinsky is where you shall find my suggestions , in fact I would probably be as bold to suggest they are my fave hash "spots" at the moment

Gredela from Papillon another good spot their Papi/special cream is another lovely piece

Mmmmmmmmmmm so many nice pieces of resin , roll on my June trip

thanks once more Cisco - in fact the ideal thing would be to live in Amsterdam, but I respect my neurons and my brain so I can not do that! hehe

I will take a look in Anyday and Kadinsky, since I am really looking for top hashes in this trip. Soon you´re gonna know what I´ve choose in my travelogue.

Thx a lot mate.

Hello,

The "gardela" is not any more on the menu of " degraal " this 17may....

It is replaced by the "cream", not as well good regrettably as the "gardela"

Cordially

Nice to know that! Also I heard that Club Media is a gr8 place to chill, not sooo crowded, etc... Definitely gonna go there and smoke Zooltjes!
One question: Hard hashes are better then soft hashes or not necessarily? Asking this because I thought soft were better - but maybe it's just a matter of hows the weather?

On that list, I'd guess I'd have to vote for the Zooltjes, although I haven't been to Utopia since the redo. That said, Cisco is right. There's a lot of good hash in the Dam, and "best hash" can be a very subjective thing once you get into the upper part of the spectrum. For example, even the choices you gave are quite different, and hard to compare.

The fingerhash at Paradox is will probably be made from a haze, zooltjes is a high-end Moroccan blonde, and the temple ball will be a good Nepalese black. Which is best? Assuming they're all made to a similar standard, a better question would be, "what mood am I in?"

It's also worth noting that menus change often (especially in the smaller shops), and freshness matters. The different batches of finger hash mentioned above are an obvious example, but it's true with the imports as well. Batches taken from older shipments usually aren't as nice as a fresh batch, and different shops will have different suppliers.

For shops, in addition to the ones Cisco mentioned, I'd also suggest having a look at least Babylon, Solo, and Katsu. Oh, and try the Turkish at Paradox, and the Kashmir at De Graal if they're in stock when you're there (the latter may be off-menu if they do, so it's worth asking).

Have fun!

It's hard to choose, as they are so different and as it depends on my mood ...

I love temple balls, but it's hard to get the real stuff and not just some dutch water work ... for the moroccan hash i love Babylon, always good quality for a decent price.

Last trip i went to "the other side" and was quite impressed about the black they got there, so i'll definitly go back to check some more.

Kadinsky was a disapointment last time, and the time before so i won't bother again.

The hash from Utopia is really good and Nel is really sweet and always of good advice .

Unfortunatly Rockerij is now closed but they had the best nepal cream in town ... (if anyone knows where i could get my hand on some decent one, i'm all ears)

Peace

I'm probably forgetting many other places, but as for now that's my share ;)

Still need to try the Twizzla and Finger hash but of the other 2 i would go for the Grand Gru with the Zooltjes just behind

Outsider in the battle would be the Gardella from 1e Hulp

Guys, after my trip to the Paradise, and also after smoking a few gs of the hashes I´ve sent by airmail (lol, kids, plz, dont do that!), I think I have my veredict (witch is totally personal and everyone can have different opinions, of course)

01st - FINGER HASH from PARADOX = For me, this was BY FAR the best hash of the Trip. First it let me stoned after just 2 or 3 puffs (is that how you say? lol).... Secondly, it´s consistense, its color, everything on it is different - for good! It smells like plant, not hash... It´s soft, powerfull... Well... I am already missing it (saving my last one here hehe)

02nd - TWIZZLA from GREEN PLACE = What to say about a ULTRA SOFT hash, with a superb smelling and great high effect? I really thought this was the best hash untill I smoke the Finger Hash, it´s really melty and let me in a great vibe.... I loved it !

03rd - ZOOLTJES from CLUB MEDIA = Since the amazing cozy place, the stunning blondtender, everything from Club Media got my attention... And Zooltjes were superb aswell, a little bit more solid then the others but after a few minutes in your hand it get softer... The fx was really good for a morning smoking, it´s not a 100% high hash, it gave me also a little bit of indica sensation, but omg, another must-smoke in Amsterdam! :)

04th - ROOTANG from ANY DAY = Honestly I consider this hash a little pricey (22e/g), I bought it to check how was it, a real nice black hash, loved it aswell, but for me those other 3 were better (and cheaper) then this....

thx for all opinions and next year I will DEFINATELY try the Gardella! :)
