I hear it's going to be expensive for everything. I remember them saying it was $11 for a beer.....no Derrick Rose though. Would like to see Anthony Davis get in there somehow.

You are about a year late for tickets. They have been printed and sent out with the name on it. There are some packages but be prepared to spend some major bucks. There is also a thread here somewhere about thr Olympics, there are a few of us going.
Peace

I was in Vancouver for 2010 Olympics...you'll have no problem buying tickets from the secondary market, but be prepared to pay extra $$$.
good strategy is to wait for events to start, then buy... you get in a little late, but could save good $$$ on guys wanting to unload.

There are I'm sure still ticket packages to be had but you will pay a price. Mainly be aware that there are a lot of very "official looking" websites out there scamming, so only buy from a scource you know to be sound. Have fun.
(Edit)
Just read in the London evening Standard that Thomas Cook are unloading their unsold corporate packages right now at reduced rates. Good luck, maybe we get to have a beer after all.

The games are being held in a police state, they already have plans to arrest people before the games, expect a full on fascist approach to every day living.

Softball and baseball were both eliminated from the Olympics.
Golf is in for Rio 2016.
