Help needed please

hi people,me and my fella are coming out on the 9th of august till the 11th,we are all sorted with a hotel,but bit confused,because looking on sites,everyone is writting up about a city tax?if someone wouldnt mind could you please explain what we are looking at paying for this tax,and if they charge you to enter and leave from the airport,because we have seen some people put up the have to pay 15 euros when they leave?very confused so any advice would be very kindly accepted

Hi,
City tax is a percentage on the total price. For Amsterdam, it's 5%. If you pay 500€ your room(for a week), you must pay 25€ more when you leave. But some hotels do a total price with all taxes, it's more simple.
